Howdy!  It's me, your little storm-crazy buddy, Spinner Regan!  Hope this finds y'all well!

I am wanting to chase some big, bad storms.  I have "storm  deprivation syndrome", or SDS, really bad!  Uncle Twister, he taught me that term.  It means that storm chasers are bored because there are no storms around to chase.  When there are no storms, chasers can't do their job.

There were some storms around us earlier this week, but they went north and missed us.  Did see the lightning, and even heard thunder; got all excited, but then the storms decided to go elsewhere to do their stuff.  I was not happy, especially since I had my camera all ready and everything!

Maybe this next time we might get some storms.  Maybe I can bag a tornado; that'd be awesome!  And maybe I can go with my uncle and get to ride in his brand new van that he got for Christmas!  That sounds so cool!

Right now, there's no storms in our area.  Supposed to be sunny, with highs in the fifties and sixties, until Thursday night; then rain on Thursday night and all day Friday into Friday night.  Doesn't mention any storms, though, according to NOAA:  just showers.  Darn!  I was hoping there'd be a chance for severe storms!

Don't want no tors visiting us, but I'd sure love to see some lightning or hear hail bouncing off the roof of our house!  To me that is a thrilling, fun sound; I love the sound of hail banging outside!  (Poor Carston and Maeli don't, though:  they're storm 'fraiders!)

If they were to go along with Uncle Twister and myself on a chase, they'd be the ones yelling:  "Make it STAWWWWP!!"  LOL

Uncle Twister promised me that this year I would go along with him on one of his storm runs.  I hope so; that'd be a dream come true for a weather fan like myself! 

If I don't become a storm chaser, I'd like to become a meteorologist.  Anything to do with weather.  If I don't chase the weather, I'd like to forecast weather on television, like Dave Schwartz did here in Atlanta.  (Dave Schwartz used to be on the Weather Channel; he seems like a very friendly, easy-going guy!  He's now in Birmingham, Alabama, doing the weather forecasting there.  I sure do miss him; I really liked him!)

He made watching the weather fun; even when storms threatened, he remained calm, cool, and in control.  He made me feel less scared of any storms that were on their way to visit me.  :)

Now Al Roker of the Today Show is on the Weather Channel, and he's a bit too goofy for my liking.  To me he makes weather forecasting a joke while Dave Schwartz was serious but fun to watch.

Maybe I can convince mom and dad to move to Alabama; that way I could watch Dave Schwartz on my tv all over again!  :)

I like to watch funny weather bloopers on the Internet.  There's one of Gary England from Oklahoma doing the weather and a cricket crawls up his shirt and onto his neck and face.  He pauses to flip the cricket off his face and says, "Anybody got any bug spray?"  You could hear the news people in the background laughing.  That cracks me up every time I see it!  It's too funny!
