Ronee' is up, bright and early, listening to some Cajun music on the radio, and trying to get the spiders out of her brain.

Sunday, January 31, 2010, Nashville, TN., 5:21 a.m., C.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Bonjour, mes amis!  Comment ca vas?  J'suis tres bon, merci, et j'suis tres hereux!

Ronee' here.  I am sitting on my bed, listening to a station on my radio that plays nothing but Cajun music; trying to wake up and get the spiders out of my brain.  LOL

I am in a very good mood.  The snow has stopped (only flurrying out there now), and the roads have been plowed; maybe we can get to church this morning.  If not, oh, well.  I can sit on my bed and listen to Cajun music all day (like I doubt that's ever gonna happen ...  LOL).  I do plan on reading the Bible and praying, so if we don't get to church today, at least I spent some quality time with the Word and with my Abba-Father!  I try to make it a point to do that anyway, so no problems there!  :)

I don't have any homework to do (got it all done on Friday), so I can loaf around if I so choose to.  Oh, I have to do my usual chores, but nothing extraordinary, unless maman and/or daddy see to it ...  LOL  I plan on veggin' out all day and listen to my Cajun station!

Am already feelin' nostalgic and missin' Louisiana.  In just a few months it will be time for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, which is in May, in Breaux Bridge.  I have gone there just about every year, and I love it!!  I just wonder if I will be playing there this year; so far, nobody's said anything, so I don't know.  I'll let y'all know as soon as I find out anything.

I was soooo happy last Sunday, when the N'Awlin's Saints beat the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship Game, thus, puttin' em into the Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts!  I hollered and carried on so much, it's a wonder the neighbors didn't hear me (or the family) screaming!  LOL  My throat hurt for three days; it's only been in the past few days where it hasn't felt like raw sandpaper every time I swallow!  LOL

Now I can continue to scream:  "GEAUX, Saints!!"  AAIEEE! :D

If we don't go to church today, that means we'll have to eat here at home.  No worries:  we have tons of food, so at least we won't starve.  Maman stocked up on food before the snow hit us in the derriere.  :)

My body has finally stopped hurting (other than the usual twinges); now I can function and act halfway human again.  :)

Right now, I am sitting here, listening to my music, and watching "Cajun", my crazy Maine Coon cat, watching a fly buzzing around the overhead light.  The way her little head keeps going 'round and 'round makes me laugh; she looks so silly!  Crazy cat; ain't nothin' gonna get past HER ever-keen eyesight!  LOL  She is also purring up a blue streak; she is purring so loud and so hard I can see her whiskers trembling and feel the rumble through the bed!  LOL

Oops!  She just tried to jump at the fly and fell off the bed.  She is now looking at me, with a look that says:  "Maman, why'd you push ME off the bed??"  LOL  She is too freakin' hilarious; I just love her soo much!!

Hopefully there will be school tomorrow, but if not, then Tuesday I will be able to go back.  I can't sleep in though, tomorrow if we don't:  have physical therapy; I have it every Monday.  I also have hydrotherapy, where I get to go into the water, and it feels.  Sooo.  Good!!  I love it (the hydrotherapy, not so much the physical stuff:  the therapists stretch my bod in ways that it wasn't even designed to bend!  *OW*  LOL)!

If it weren't for the therapy, I'd sleep in past noon, if I could!  LOL

Well, maman just announced that church services are cancelled, because the church has no power.  Nice!  So I guess that means I can snooze in!  Yay!!!  So on that note, I am going to end this now, cover my little head with the blankets, and go back to dreamland!  Maybe I can dream about dancing with my boyfriend, Michael Stinkowitz, at the Crawfish Festival!  :) Until later, this is your Cajun friend, Ronee', signing off!  Take care and God bless!  Aaiiee!!  Laissez les bon temps rouler, mes amis!  Love y'all!

~Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux.  :)

*Note to self:  Read the Bible and pray when I get back up!*

Poor Cajun ... LOL! Reminds me of YOUR Cajun, when the lightning hit close ... falling off the bed, tail all *POOF*ed out, giving me a dirty look, like "Why'd you make that bright light, that terrible noise and throw me off the bed?" LOLOL Well done, Karen.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
