Alaskan teenager Aggie writes in her journal; she is ready to drop out of school due to the constant teasing she must endure.

Hola, compadres!  It's me, Aggie, from Fairbanks, Alaska:  the one kids call "Mule-Face", 'count of I'm so ugly.

I'm afraid things at school haven't gotten any better.  If anything, they've only gotten worse.  All the teasing makes it hard to concentrate on my work, and my grades are starting to suffer as a result.  Mom and dad have tried to help me, but I don't see it doing much good:  they don't have to hear the nasty words the kids fling at me day in and day out!

It's gotten so bad I am seriously thinking of dropping out of school.  I can't take much more of it!

It's no wonder I have such a low opinion about myself.  It doesn't help having Bliss or Katie-Rose as my older sisters:  both got the good looks; I got the shaft.  Took after my grandma; bless her heart, she wasn't no raving beauty either.

The only time I'm ever happy is when I'm on the computer (Facebook and MySpace, my two regular "homes"); that way, nobody has to see my face if I so choose; I'd rather it be that way.  I also like catching up on the celeb gossip; hey, a girl's gotta do something, ya know?

No, it doesn't help looking at all those glam guys and gals, but I like to know what's going on in their lives.  A lot of it might be prefabricated, but I still like to be "in the know", ya know??  :)

I've tried to talk dad and mom into letting me get a nose job, to get rid of this big honker I have; they say no way.  I think that's part of the problem:  I have a nose that could rival Barbra Streisand's!  I also don't like my freckles or my stringy mouse-colored hair!

I've heard time and time again that God didn't make junk when He created people, but I personally think He goofed up when He made me.  :/

Well, I am sorry to cut this short, but I gotta get ready for prison duty (ah, er SCHOOL); I will write in here again soon.  Hopefully I can convince my parents to let me drop out of school; anything's gotta be better than being teased day in and day out!!

Bye for now!

~Aggie.  :(
