Hi!  Alisan Jewell Powell here!  I'm the one who wants to be a singer when she gets to be a grownup lady like my mama!

I am five years old.  I live in San Fransisco, California, with my mommy and daddy, and my baby brother, Ezekial, who is one.  I am in kindergarten.

I still want to be a singer; singing is probably my favorite-ist thing in the world to do!  I also want to be on "America's Got Talent"; they're having tryouts next weekend, and I am going to be there!  I want to be on there so bad it's not funny!

I'd like to be the next Kaitlyn Maher.  She was four when she was on the show; she is now six.  I think she is absolutely wonderful!

I still watch my "Star Search" tapes that mama taped off the tv; she was a teenager when Star Search was on, and that was her favorite program.  I can see why.  They had some awesome talented people on there:  singers, dancers, comic guys (and ladies), and bands.  They even had grown up ladies and men model.

I am looking forward to Easter.  We go to church, and this year I will be singing a solo.  I will be singing "Jesus Loves Me".  I hope I do a good job; I'll probably be scared standing in front of all those people watching me! 

I am also looking forward to the end of school.  Summer break!!  I can go swimming, play with my friends, and maybe go to Chuck E. Cheese's or Domino's Pizza for lunch if I'm good!  I can also sleep in; I don't like getting up early for school!  I'd rather stay home and play all day!

Well, I gotta go.  Time to go to see Dr. Graham; I have a checkup today.  I will then go to school after I'm done at the doctor's.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Alisan Powell saying bye!  Pray I make it to "America's Got Talent"; that'd be a big dream come true !
