St. Patrick's Day,  Wednesday,  March 17, 2010.

Top o' the mornin' to ye!   It's your (Irish) friend, Ronee' Le-Anne O'Reaux!  (Hey, everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day; it's the law!  LOL)

I AM, in actuality, part Irish:  have some Irish in me, as well as Scottish, Spanish, Native American (Cherokee), African American, and Cajun French (mostly Cajun and Native American).  So I can actually say I'm Irish!  LOL

Gettin' ready to go downtown; no school for me or the city of Nashville:  big, humongous St. Patrick's Day parade today (at nine sharp), then festivities all day long, with Irish bands/music (and even some Cajun:  yours truly will be performing at 1:30 to 2:00!), Irish food and drink, and crazy contests guaranteed to put everyone into the holiday mood.  It's gonna be a blast!

The weather gods have blessed this day:  nothing but wall-to-wall sunshine, with nary a cloud in the sky.  A bit windy perhaps, to put a chill into the air, but still a beautiful day forecasted, nevertheless.  :)

I am doing great:  no complaints, none whatsoever.  Life is indeed sweet!  Michael and I are growing closer in our relationship, and I feel blessed to have him in my life (I just wish the other kids would stop calling him "Stinko"!).  I also feel blessed to have the world's greatest family and to have the most awesome parents! 

I have great friends, both at school, and out about town (and elsewhere); best of all, I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who continues to sustain me and pour out His many blessings upon me.  Yeah, I am indeed a very lucky girl (and I don't need luck, as long as I have God in my life!).  :)

It's hard to believe that I'll be graduating this year:  in June, which is a little less than three months away!  I will have to get busy and see what college I would like to attend; I have two to choose from:  The University of Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana (d'oh!), or the University of Tennessee.  I would like to start college in the fall, if possible.  I plan on majoring in music (natch!), with a minor in English/Literature.  That's my goal, anyway, if God sees to it. 

I loved school all my life (still do); it's just gonna be weird not going to school after all these years:  getting up with the birds, stumbling through breakfast as I try to wake up, and getting my things together before the bus comes!  LOL  Today, however, since it's a special day, I don't have school; I have the day off!  (I'd be sleeping in right now if it weren't for the parade/St. Paddy's Day Celebration! :) )

Oh, wait!  Just remembered:  everyone is off --  spring break!  LOL  Oops!  See what I mean about trying to wake up??  I have fuzzy head in the morning (and I'm not just referring to my messed-up hair, either)!  LOLOLOL 

I went to bed at 11 last night:  watched a movie that got me engrossed, time got away.  Didn't fall asleep until 1, so you're talkin' six hours of sleep for me last night!  *Yawn*  That's what I get for watchin' movies and eatin' crackers in bed!  LOLOLOLOL  (Movie I watched was "The Tingler", an old, old horror flick.  Scary in parts, but kinda' stupid, too!  LOL  Did give me the willies; when my own back tingled, I about lost it!  *yikes!*)

I'll never look at my own back the same way again ....  when it starts to tingle, I'm going to get realllll worried!  LOLOLOLOLOL

I usually don't do horror movies, but this one was pretty good, and I got lost into it, so there you go.  :)  No blood, no guts, not much violence:  just in-your-face, mess-up-with-your-head kind of chills and thrills!  And Vincent Price's voice is creepy enough anyway!  Yeeeeeeeee!  LOLOLOLOLOL

As long as it isn't anything ilke "Saw" or "Nightmare On Elm Street", then I'm safe.  Those are too much for me to take; the biggest issue I'd have would be with the blood and gore; don't do blood'n'guts too well without risking of hurling all over someone!  LOL
