Dear Peeps~

Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux here.  Hope y'all are doing well; I sure am!  Had a most wonderful Resurrection/Easter Sunday yesterday; our Cantata at church went better than expected (over 20 people went to the altar and gave their hearts to the Lord), and after church, we had some great food at the Golden Corral, where I made a pig of myself.  *Oink*  LOL  (Had two plates full; I was hungry!!)

After G.C., we went to the park, where the younger kids ran their meal off; as for me, I sat on the bench and let my belly flop around.  I ws stuffed to the gills!  *burp!*  LOL  Let's see:  I had mashed potatoes with gravy, turkey, stuffing, lettuce and tomato salad, jalapeno peppers, carrots, peas, and, for dessert, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.  It was yummy!!  I guess I ate a lot because I sang during the Cantata; I sang three times (twice in the morning, once at night, and on Saturday, we had our dress rehearsal); it was hot being under those stage lights, and I got hungry!!  Wow!!

We also had an Easter egg hunt; I didn't participate, but I sure had fun watching my littler brothers and sisters go for it!  LOL  I did help hide 'em; think I hid some of them too well because this morning, when I went to take out the trash, I found an egg not far from the garbage cans, sitting in the grass.  It was a blue one.  LOL  One that I colored on Friday.  LOLOLOLOLOL

I also found an egg by the front door --  or did before I stepped on it.  *crunch!*  LOL  Oopsie!  LOL

Church and Golden Corral were both packed with people.  We had the biggest crowd since Christmas; of course, we should:  Easter and Christmas are the two biggest church-going days of the year, and the special music always brings 'em in.  The Golden Corral was packed as well:  I think everyone in Nashville had the same idea we did.  LOL  We had to wait over an hour and a half before we were even seated (in the party room of course).  By the time it was our turn to get our food, I was ready to start chowing down at the food bars!  LOLOLOLOL

The weather was rainy for a good part of Saturday and part of Sunday morning, but by noon, it cleared up, and it's now pretty, with coolish temperatures and wall-to-wall sunshine:  nary a cloud in the sky.  Simply smashing weather!!  As long as we don't have any severe storms, I'm okay with that! :)

For Easter, I got some money ($50.00 from grandpere' et grandmere' Moliere, and $25.00 from maman and daddy), some Christian DVD's, some music CD's (Bianca Ryan, Reba, Mark Chesnutt, and The Moore Brothers), some clothes, and some books.  I made out like a bandit!  :)  So now I will have new things to wear, read, watch, and listen to.  Also money to spend.  I am a very happy camper right now!  Next to Christmas (and my birthday), I think I like Easter the best because we always get something!  :)

Yesterday for Easter, I wore a pretty peach colored jacket and pants set over a white organdy blouse, as well as my red flat shoes, plus I had my hair all teased and looking wonderful.  I got a lot of compliments on how I looked from people at church and at G.C.  I also had my long, dangly earrings with the little peach balls on the ends.  I think I look really good in peach. 

Well, I gotta go and get ready to go to my next class, which is History (ihkkk).  I will write in here again soon (hopefully before June, when I graduate from school; can you believe it????).  Until then, this is Ronee' Reaux saying so long and God bless!  Love y'all!

O, nearly forgot:  next month is the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival!!  I will be performing there!!  So you will probably hear from me around that time!  I canNOT wait; I absolutely love the Crawfish Festival!!!!
