Great story told by my Pastor to enlighten the Homily on Easter Sunday.
Our Pastor had some keen insights during the Easter Sunday Homily about the unquestionable nature to the Resurrection. Loved his little side story about the gas station attendant who once reacted with a "He Is Alive!" shout (like the women at the tomb did)! It seems that in the past, a priest was sick but still had to go to preside at a funeral out of town. To help Padre, the funeral director gave the priest a ride in the hearst while the body of the deceased was in the back like usual. After barely getting through the completed services and feeling worse, the priest followed the funeral director's suggestion to lay down in the back of the hearst with the shades closed fully on the way back home from the services. The funeral director stopped to get some gas, which unbeknownst to him, awakened the priest, who decided to peek out right at that moment. When the gas attendant saw a priest moving in the back of a hearst, it appeared that Padre had come back to life!
