Howdy, y'all!  It's your little weather buddy, Spinner Regan Patterson, writing!  Hope this finds y'all well!

May be going on my first chase of this year; some storms due in South Texas this weekend; Uncle Twister and I are making big plans to go there.  We will probably be gone for a few days, whcih means I will probably miss some school next week.  That's okay:  as long as there are sstorms to chase, then I'm game!  If I could bag a tor, it would be soooo great; it would be a dream come true !

I'd also get away from my annoying little sister, Maeli, and my little brother, Carston Stryker, who isn't too bad, but he can take up mama and daddy's time, because he's got special needs.

Mama and daddy said that I could go; this is going to be sooo fun!!  I will finally get to see Uncle Twister in action; he is something of a legend-in-the-making; he was there when the big tornado hit Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on May 3, 1999.  He said that thing was a monster; it was the biggest tor he'd ever seen!  He even took pictures of it; it was absolutely amazing!!

When I last wrote, we were in Texas, going to attend the annual TESSA (Texas Severe Storms Association) conference near Fort Worth, in Colleyville.  It was really cool; I really learned a lot, and I got to meet some real life chasers and meet the main meteorologist, David Finfrock, of Channel 5, NBC, KXAS, in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas!  He was really nice, and I got to get his autograph, and have my piccy taken with him!

There were two twin sisters there; one was a chaser, and the other, I guess, she was her tagalong.  Or maybe she was her chase partner.  But you could definitely tell that they were sisters.  They had to have been twins:  they looked very much alike, but one was taller and heavier; the taller one was on a cane, and the smaller one was on arm crutches.  I met them too; they said their names were Karen and Karla, and they lived near Fort Worth.

While at TESSA, they showed a movie about what would happen if a big Oklahoma City-sized tornado hit Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (it would spell disaster, for sure!), and they talked about what makes a storm severe, not to mention, lots of other things.  It was very interesting, not to mention, informative; I learned a lot!  They even fed us; I had a barbeque beef sandwich, fries, and a fruit cup for dessert; to drink, I had a CokeCola; my food was very good.

I hope to go to TESSA again next year.

While at TESSA, Uncle Twister got me some neat books and stuff about storm chasing; I read them just about every night!  I also got some shirts, and some chasers' autographs.  It was the best time I ever had!

Now we may be going to Texas in a few days to chase some storms, and I am really excited!!  I canNOT wait!!

Well, I gotta go.  I have music class.  I will write again soon; until then, this is Spinner Regan Patterson saying so long!  Pray we have a safe trip to Texas and pray I get to bag a tornado!  I would greatly appreciate it!
