Just the other morning I had an epiphany. Suddenly, I was reminded of the importance of being in alignment with my faith in God especially when faced with so many catastrophes we are facing in today’s world. Still as an ordained minister, I’ve elected to make it my everyday duty to share a kind word with a passing stranger, point someone in the right direction when I see them lost, relinquish anything negative from eating at my mind, and be assured to put one new idea into effect. However, lately it seems I’ve taken on a few more duties.

To be more precise, trying to empower a world of people that have either given up their belief in God and or, never believed at all is the most challenging endeavor I’ve ever had to face. Reason being, the distortion fond in so many religions today has made such an impact on our world, that many religious followers lack the true essence of what being a believe and follower is all about.

So much, I’m beginning to be convinced that each catastrophe eating at our world is a clear and direct sign from our Divine Creator that something is wrong in our current system. In fact, when I review the scriptures I find that there are many scriptures that support this very idea.

First of all, it’s important to understand this one significance; we are not the only living beings that exist in the galaxy. The scripture teaches us “All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”-I Corinthians Fifteen verses thirty-nine and forty.

Secondly, it’s also important to understand that those of other bodies have a greater ability to see what the human eye cannot, and it is those with such abilities that seemingly have begun to saturate our world with so much evil. And to many such an idea is preposterous. But looking at the scripture we find that God often poured out an evil spirit upon humankind to test its faith in him.

“But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit of the Lord troubled him.”- I Samuel Sixteen verse fourteen. “And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took a harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.”- I Samuel Sixteen verse twenty-three.

“…that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.”-James One verse seven.
