Four friends who are disabled live (and work) together.

Name's Moe.  I'm the good lookin' one out of our group.  LOL

I live with my three bestest friends in the whole wide world; we live in an Apartment; it's name is D-7.  We all are handicapped; that's what makes us special.  That's okay; it's how God made us.

Besides me, there's Tavarius, and there's also Tiny and Ogee.  We not only live together; we work together, too.  We work at a place for handicapped people; regular people's jobs just won't do for us.  Either we're too messed up or else we're slow.  Me, I'm both.  I have cerebral palsy (CP) and am retarded.  Born this way, but that's okay. God still loves me anyway, and so do my family and my friends.

I  have worked at Rising Hope Industries (RHI) for the last ten years; I've made many good friends there.  At my work, I put together plastic pieces on an assembly line; I work five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 5.00 p.m., but the weekends, they are mine, and they are free.  On Saturday, it's my sleepin' in day; on Sunday, me and my buddies, we go to church.  I love going to church 'cos we get to learn and sing about Jesus, and Jesus, He is way cool in my book! :)

My friends are handicapped too.  Tavarius is blind, and Tiny has breathing problems.  I think his problems are called asthma.  Sometimes he gets so bad off he has to go to the hospital, where the doctors and nurses give him special medicine and oxygen to help him feel better.  He's also very, very fat: he weighs somethin' like 550 pounds; he's a big boy.  As for Ogee, he has seizures.  Sometimes he falls to the ground and shakes like a dyin' dog.  It's scary when he has one of his spells, but once they're over, then he's okay.

So that is us.  The Group.  Me, Tiny, Tavarius, and Ogee.  We are a team; we are always together.  We get along super; we hardly ever fight, even when we are mad at one another.  If we are mad, we try to make up and say we're sorry; then everything's peachy-keen, and all is okay again.

I've been friends with Tiny and Tavie for somethin' like nine years now; as for Ogee, we met him about a year ago; he came here to Tennessee from Louisiana.  He's a Cajun.  He loves Cajun music, which is fun to dance to, and he loves crawfish, which, to me, look like small, red bugs, but he says they're okay to eat.  I don't konw; I don't like 'em because they got their eyes, and they're lookin' at me.  *Eeek*  LOL

Well, that's our story.  I am sorry to have to go, but we're at work, and breaktime is about over.  Boss wants us to get back on the clock and back on the Line, so we can do our job, or else we might get canned.  I don't want that, so I gotta scoot.  Take care; this is Moe signing off!  Be good now, hear??

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
