Joshua has been gone ten years now! His death still seems like it was yesterday.
When we reflect on his short life, we remember how valiently he fought to live and the joy he brought to our lives.
Joshua's life was a constant struggle for survival as he faced seizues, breathing problems, being fed into a stomach gastric tube and frequent trips to the hospital. He could not see nor speak. He sometimes would cry or make strange noises, when trying to communicate. He couldn't sit nor turn him self. Josh was completely dependant upon the care of others.
There was an angelic quaility about him and those who met him were drawn to an aura surrounding him .
The Doctors said he'd only live to be a year old but he lived to be two years, One month and thirteen days old.
Each year we celebrate Josh's birthday and remember the day he passed away. At Christmas we hang a little angel on the tree in honor of him.
Joshua's memory remains in our hearts, and even though he's gone from his earthly life, he still remains a part of us and always will.
