It has been a year ago today when our Great Nation was attacked in a brutal and hellish way; and as a result, many innocent lives were lost. Buildings also were damaged, or some (like the World Trade Centers) fell and are no longer standing.
Four months ago I wrote out my feelings about September 11, and today is the update of that piece. I am at school, and today we are talking about what had happened; and before school began we stood outside and sang "The Star Spangled Banner" and recited the Pledge of the Allegience--with "Under God" included. Everyone is so sad, and the teachers are trying their best to keep from crying; and I am sure there are kids here at school who knew people who had died in the attacks. They are walking around in a daze, and today, while waiting for the bus to pick us up, a plane flew overhead, and Ronee' screamed and ducked. (She is still scared we will be attacked, and she doesn't sleep as good at night as she used to. I am worried about her...)
And I knew someone who died in the attacks..our friend, Stephanie Green, who was a good friend of our friend, M'buti's. She died when the plane hit; she was instantly killed. At first, we thought she died while trying to rescue people from the Towers, but it was later found out that she died when the plane had run into the building; and she was killed that way. (They found her body several months later.) M'buti and her husband are both in New York City at the Memorial Service for the ones who died in the attacks last year; oh, I HOPE they will be okay, and I HOPE ~NOTHING ELSE~ happens today!!!! We ~DON'T~ need another repeat of what happened last year; once was ~MORE~ than enough!!!...
Ever since last year, I haven't eaten as well as I should, and I have trouble sleeping myself; and I worry about things like further attacks; and I worry about my brother, Erich, who lives IN NYC. (I wish he lived with me or NEAR me; then I wouldn't have to worry so much...) And I wish they would find the people who were responsible for last year's attacks and ~PUNISH THE SNOT~ outta' them!!!!
Tonight we are going to our local memorial service for the people who died last year; I am not so sure I want to go...I don't like thinking about the Towers burning and then falling; and I don't like thinking about those people who hate America and want to harm her; such thoughts make me want to throw up!!...:(
Well, this is about it. I am too upset to write any more.
MAY "GOD BLESS AMERICA AGAIN", and "MAY WE ALWAYS REMEMBER!!"

What a beautiful tribute on the anniversary of one of the worst days in America's history. A year.... has it been that long? It seems like just yesterday....
The pain is still so new...
