Sojo (aka Sergio Talavares) continues his story.

Hola from Baltimore, Maryland!

It's tu amigo, Sojo (aka Sergio) Talavares, writing.  Thought I'd continue with my story.

I had a great Fourth of July; went with abuelo y abuela. It was good to get away from the Bossy Duo (my two sisters, Mira y Magdalina) and the Holy Terror (my littlest brother, Louie; he's autistic and a pain in my ass!).  We went to the harbor here in Baltimore, and we saw the best fireworks display EVER!  The thing lasted well over a half hour; it was great!!  I really enjoyed myself emmensely!

In addition to the fireworks, we went to the beach, where I swam all day long after the parade (that was in the morning) and had a picnic lunch.  We then let our bellies flop around and enjoyed the sunny day and the hot temperatures.

I didn't have to think about Louie or the Bossy Duo all day, and that was fine with me.

I honestly cannot wait for school to start.  I am getting tired of having to listen to Louie whining or see him acting so .. so .. retarded.  When he shakes (or bangs) his head, flaps his hands in front of his face, or screams, he looks all wrong and funny, and I cannot deal with that.  It is because of my little brother that I don't have any friends.

I wish he'd go somewhere else!  I can't put up with his autism much longer!!

I'm sorry he was born that way, but it'd sure make my life a lot more bearable (not to mention, easier) if he wasn't around!!

Louie also isn't toilet-trained.  At eight years old, he is still wearing diapers.  Diapers!!  Just like a little baby!! It's embarrassing, especially when he shits himself and starts to stink!

I do hope that when I go into tenth grade in a few weeks I can make some friends!  I hate having to look like a loser because I don't have anybody to hang around with!  And I blame Louie on that one because he's so dumb and acts worse!!

Well, I've just managed to depress myself again ... damn little Louie!  I hate him at times; I wish he had never been born!!  Until later, this is Sojo sayin' I'm outta here!  Adios!

~Sojo Talavares.  :(

To be continued.

It's got to be hard, being the brother of someone who has special needs ... Sojo's frustration is clearly captured in well written lines. Excellent, Karen.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
