Dallas, Texas, August 2010~

Howdy from the Lone Star State!  This is your friend, Sheniqua Sapphire Milsap (nee' Williams), speaking!  Hope all is well with y'all!

Yeah, you read right:  I'm an ol' married woman.  Married my sweetie, Cordavious Donte' Milsap, in May of this year, and it's been a fun, happy ride ever since!  Cordavious treats me like a goddess; he waits on me hand and foot (not 'cause I ask him to, but because he wants to)!  He's that kind of guy:  has a lot of love in his heart!

For our honeymoon, we took a cruise to Alaska.  Two weeks.  It was wonderful:  I saw things I never thought I'd see:  whales.  Eagles.  Grizzly bears.  Majestic snow-capped mountains.  Forests that seemed to go on forever.  Lights dancing in the northern skies.  I LOVED it; I am more than ready to return to Alaska!

I am still working at my store.  If I'm not there, then Wilma is.  She's the assistant manager; I'm the main manager.  Our store is doing very well; have a good rapport with the customers, and am rollin' in the dough.  We do a booming business all day long on the weekdays and on Saturdays (Sunday we are closed; church obligations, y'know).  I might not get as much in the way of my disability pay, due to my business, but that's okay:  God is still providing for all my needs!

Cordavious and I have been discussing the possibility of adding kids to the family.  We'd both love to have one or two litle ones to take care of and raise as our own.  If I am unable to have kids, we have decided to adopt a child, preferably one with special needs.

I think that was birthed on account of my friend in Tennessee, Louisiana Sandusky.  She and her husband, Bill, have adopted over fifty children, most of them with special needs, and they have been a huge blessing in my life.  Met Louie when she came down to Mississippi to help out with relief efforts after Katrina slammed ashore and changed people's lives forever.  We became fast friends and have remained close friends ever since.

I never thought I would have a boyfriend (or eventually get married), but then Cordavious Milsap entered my world, and it's been one blessing after another.  God is really watching out over me when, just a few years back, I was struggling so bad!!

I pray the blessings continue!!

Well, I hate to run, but Cordavious needs me for something, so I'd best see what it is.  I will write in here again; hopefully I won't wait six or seven months (or longer!) to write again; I'm terrible about things like that!  Until later, take care and may God bless you as much as He's been blessin' me!  Love ya!
