Dear Journal~

Good morning!!

It's your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux, writing!  Just woke up not even five minutes ago; slept like a log last night!  It was crazy-busy at Olive Garden last night; then at eight it just ... DIED.  We spent the rest of our shift wrapping silverware.  Didn't get home until 10 last night.

I am doing well.  I love my job as hostess at Olive Garden.  Been working there now for three weeks; weekends are nuts, but I still love interacting with the customers when they come in to the restaurant, as well as fielding any calls that come in, with people inquiring about parties, etc.

I have a great group of co-workers, and my bosses are cool, especially Ken, the general manager (GM).  He saw past my physical disabilities and gave me a chance; I was hired right on the spot.  I was so happy; this was the first job I really looked for, and I got it!  I would say it was beginner's luck, but I don't believe in luck.  I say it was God opening a door for me, and I walked in.  I am so happy to have this job because I can pay my bills and become more independent.

I am putting a lot of my savings into my college fund; will be going to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana (d'oh!!) next year, where I want to major in music and in journalism.

I do like sleeping in, though.  Some days I don't get up until noon.  I usually do that on my days off.  Today I am off, but I have some running around to do.  Have to pay my car insurance, go get some stuff at the store, and get my hair trimmed, as well as stop in at the CVS drive-through and pick up my prescription that I forgot to pick up on Saturday (eep!). 

I also have to gazz up my Bug; she's getting low on fuel.  That is very important! 

Tonight is church.  I have to be there by five thirty, five forty-five; am singing on the worship team tonight, so I have to be there early.  We don't have too many weeks left in the warehouse; soon our church building will be ready to reopen, and we can have church in our usual place.  I can't wait!!

Seems that on my days off I'm usually busier than on the days where I am working!  LOL  Today is a great example of this!  LOL

Well, I am going to get up, take a quick shower, get dressed, eat my breakfast, and then get ready to leave the house.  I want to be out the door by nine-thirty.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Ronee' saying so long!  God bless you always; He's certainly blessed the socks off of me!  (Hope it continues! :) )
