G'day, all!  This is your mate, Meegin Charlene Quigley, writing.  Me brother, Charles, has been doing all the writing/news up to this point; now it's me turn, y'know?

I am just about all healed: me appendix burst nearly a year ago; I was in America, visiting me brother, Charles, when I got sick.  Spent at least a month in hospital, recuperating from surgery.  It was a bad time, that ...  glad I'm nearly well again! 

I still get tired easily, so I have to be careful.  Now that spring is nearly here, I can look forward to the warmer weather.  We had a long, cold winter.  Hardly any snow (snow is a once-in-a-while event here in Sydney; what we mostly get is flurries or rains).  I just hope we have a good, dry, warm spring, and I pray that when summer comes, we don't have to worry about fires once again!

Hmm.  Writing in a journal is harder than it looks.  Have to use me brain for something besides a hat rack to pull words or thoughts out of it.  LOL  How does me brother do it?? He makes it look so easy!

Anyway, I am almost fifty one years old, with shortish dark red hair, blue eyes, and freckles.  I don't tan; I only get more freckles.  *Sigh*  And meanwhile, Charles, he turns as brown as an Indian:  we look very different from one another, as different as night and day! LOL  You wouldn't think we were related!  LOL

Me brother works part time cutting lawns; other than that, during the off season, he works at a store, as a stocker.  Me, I work at a bank; I work Monday-Friday.  I work today, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.  I'm at work now, on break: figured I'd start a journal, so that way, you can get to know me better.  Until now, I've been an afterthought, or in the background, because it's been me brother who's done all the talking.  LOL

It's my turn.  LOL

I'm fairly small, just pudgy.  Me brother is tall and very well muscled.  He's one of the hardest workers I know, plus he's passionate about keeping fit.  Charles, he also loves to surf.  If he could, he'd surf all day!  Me, I just let it go after I recuperated after surgery/hospitalization!  LOL  I'm turning into a little butterball!  And I really don't give a rip.  LOL

It's been rather rainy here; I'm more than ready for some sunshine!  Hopefully a slot of drier, warmer weather will come soon; these dark, cold, cloudy days are downright maddening!!

Well, me break is overwith and done, so I'd best get back to work before me boss fires me arse.  I will write in here again; until later, take care!  This is Meegin C. Quigley saying ta-ta!
