November 3, 2010, McKinney, Texas~

Holy crap!  You mean it's already November??  Wow, didn't realize it's been that long since I last wrote in my journal!

Rat-Nose here.  Hope this finds y'all well and happy.  I am currently at school, sitting in study hall.  Since I already completed my assignment, I am sitting here, trying to kill the time before the bell rings.  Then it's ... L U N C H!!!! :D

Last time I wrote, I was enjoying myself at the fifth annual Freedom Festival in Crowley, Texas.  Now it's clearly fall, and the weather has gotten decidedly colder after a long (and very hot) summer.  And the Texas Rangers lost to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series, so I am not really happy with them.  And the Dallas Cowboys continue their losing ways; I am not very happy with them either.  As far as I am concerned, they can kiss my lily-white ass.  They are nothing but a bunch of losers!

Work is going well, but it's ... work.  Am trying to save some needed cash, for it won't be long before Christmas will be staring at me in the face.  I have already heard some Christmas music, and the trees and decorations are going up in earnest at the stores.  Hallowe'en ain't hardly over, and already it is starting to look like Christmas! It's insane!!

Gloria, my sister in college, will be coming home in a few weeks for Thanksgiving.  I am looking forward to Thanksgiving break; it will mean a long weekend.  I just wish I didn't have to work that Friday and Saturday; at least I have Sunday off!  I also work on Thanksgiving, which pissed me off royal when I saw the schedule.  (I will work in the evenings on Black Friday and on Saturday, but on Thanksgiving, I am scheduled to work from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Not too bad, but I'd rather stay home and sleep in!)

I  just hope Gloria doesn't be a pain in my ass.  She has a way of making me feel like such a droid when she's home; she thinks that since she's in college she can tell me what to do and treat me like a moron!  She has a boyfriend now; his name's Clint Maxwell, and I am hoping that he isn't a dweeb like my sister is!  He'll be coming too.  Great!  Just what I need in my life: TWO dweebs!!

I haven't been going to church (can you tell??).  Church is becoming a waste of my time, and I'd rather spend Sundays sleeping in (that is, if I don't have to work, which I usually do).  I also miss church because of working on Sundays.  That's okay with me.  Some of the people there act all holy and righteous on Sunday, and during the week, they act anything BUT Christlike!  They are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites, and I can't deal with that right now!

My parental units keep trying to get me to go to church with them, but I keep trying to make all sorts of excuses not to go.  Maybe God is disappointed in me for not going, but right now, I just don't give a flyin' fig!!  I'm having too much fun now (and working) without having to worry about church on top of everything else!

The weather here in McKinney, Texas, is cold, nasty, rainy.  The rains are supposed to be out of here by sometime this afternoon as the clouds clear out from the north, but until then, it's a perfect day to stay indoors or try to find things to do (or sit in a boring classroom all day).  I just hope the teachers don't pile a lot of homework on us this weekend; I have to work, and I don't want to spend my off time doing schoolwork!  I'd rather spend time doing nothing or at least sleeping until I have to  get up to go to work!

Well, the bell to change classes has just rung, so that means one thing for me: LUNCH!!  I just hope it's not mystery meat or some other disgusting concoction this time around! The last few lunch periods have totally sucked!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Rat-nose saying so long!  Talk to you again soon!
