Meegin Christina Quigley writes in her journal. Since it is her day off from the bank, she is bored.

6 November 2010, Sydney, Australia~

Dear Journal~

G'day!  It's your mate, Meegin Christina Quigley, writing.  I am bored, very bored.  Off today from the bank; it's just me; brother Charles went off sailing with some friends to enjoy the lovely spring weather.

Might as well get it in because tonight we may be in for some nasty weather.  Might not be sleeping all that well tonight if the storms see to it.

Don't like storms: they terrify me.  I don't like the lightning, and the thunder hurts me ears something terrific!  And I don't like the accompanying winds or hail.  Just call me a regular chicken!  BuhGAWK!!

I wish I had me a puppy or a kitty to snuggle next to.  We do have a bird, a macaw Charles named "Squawky" because he talks way too much, even more so than me (if that's even possible! LOL).  He is red with a white face and blue tail feathers; he is really colourful!  He is okay, as far as birds go, but he can get messy sometimes, and then I have to clean up after him!  It's really maddening, that!

Haven't had any run ons with any funnel webs, but I 'spect they'll be out before too long.  I still find meself checkin' me shoes and socks every night before I go to bed for the night; have already had a few encounters with 'em, and I still have marks on me right foot (along with the scars encountered from when I got into a fight with a box jellyfish; the box jelly won); once was more than enough!

I won't be wearing any bikinis anytime soon!  My legs look absolutely horrifying!!  I'm embarrassed about me scars!

Heard from Louisiana Sandusky, the nurse who took care of me when I got sick in America; she still keeps in touch with me.  She is diong well, as is her rainbow family; I still don't know how she does it!  I'd be daft in me skull if I had to handle as many kids as she does day in and day out!  Sheesh!!

Sorry if this isn't much of a journal, but I am still learning how to put me thoughts down on paper; not too comfortable about writing about meself.  Have always been modest in nature; don't feel like telling the world about meself, y'know?  Charles, he has no problems with it; he could write all day long if he wanted to! LOL  Besides the phone is ringing; hopefully it isn't me boss asking me to come in!

Until later, this is Meegin Christina Quigley saying so long!  Take care and I will write in here again!

Meegin.  :)

P.S.: The picture is one of me legs after I had the box jelly encounter.  Hurt!! WOW!  The worst pain I ever felt in me life!  Both me legs look like that.

I love how Meegin's personality comes through these lines, feel like she's sitting right next to me, reciting her story! Well done, Karen.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
