Happy Father's Day Song and Story - memories of my dad and a song dedicated to him
One of my late dad's (Andres N. Horcasitas Jr.) most recognized quotes was "C'est la vie," which is French for "Such is life." While he was of Spanish descent and had his share of Hispanic quotes, the French one was most related to his personality. I certainly inherited his eternal optimism that he would exhibit so readily when coping with life. As a Tulane Graduate who endured 25 years of losing to LSU in football till 1973, he certainly had to make that commentary for quite awhile! Thanks, Dad, for helping me to always look at the positive side to life and death. Here's a song (attached) that I dedicated to him: "Happy Father's Day"
