I am so happy.  I had a wonderful Christmas, probably the best Christmas ever!!

I got all the things I'd asked for on my list, and even more than that, I got a Christmas present from God.  He gave us a white Christmas here in Georgia, the first time in like 100 years!

It was magical.  

I didn't even know it was snowing until Mama looked out the window and screamed: "SNOW!!  SNOW!! It's SNOWING outside!!"  Of course, that brought Daddy and all us kids running to the windows.  When we saw the fat, fluffy snowflakes tumbling down, we wanted to go outside and be in it.  Mama and Daddy both said to wait until we had some breakfast and got dressed; we were not to go outside in our pajamas.

We quickly ate our breakfast (or as quickly as five kids can eat!), threw on some warm clothes (along with our winter wear), and went running outside, where we were soon trying to catch snowflakes on our tongues and dancing around in the snowy conditions.  Of course, little Timmy, being the littlest (he's two) fell onto his hind end and began crying.  I picked up my baby brother and said to him, "No tears! No tears on Christmas!"

About fifteen minutes later, Mama and Daddy both called us back inside, so we could open our Christmas presents that Santa Claus had left us from the North Pole.  When we saw all the brightly wrapped packages underneath the lit Christmas tree, well, we kids started screaming and jumping around excitedly.  

Soon, there was a flurry of brightly colored wrapping paper being flung into the air, along with screams of joy, as we kids tore into our gifts.  It was awesome!! I got the Guitar Hero game I'd wanted, along with new clothes, some books (Chicken Soup for the Soul and The 39 Clues, along with two "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books), and money (I got something like $100.00 from my grandma and grandpa in Arkansas).  I got a lot of great gifts, as you can see.  The snow just made it all the more meaningful.

We even got ourselves a new puppy.  A Keeshond.  It was so cute!  We named it "Barley" (why, I don't know; that was the name that first popped into my head when I saw the animal).

Sadly, the snow was gone by evening, but when it lasted, Mama and Daddy took videos and pictures.  Lots and lots of pictures.  They are probably gonna upload it to their YouTube channel, so they can show off our White Christmas off toe family/friends.  Don't blame them one bit.  I just wish the snow could have stuck around a little longer.  I wanted to use my Flexible Flyer I'd gotten last year for Christmas.
