My name is Kenni.  Actually, it's Kendra, but I go by Kenni instead.  My whole name is Kendra Denise Harlinger, but I prefer Kenni.  I am 10 years old.

I live with my family in Hope, Arkansas.  I have a mom and a daddy, and I also have two sisters named Blythe Caprice and Tori (Victoria) Grace, who are younger.  Blythe is eight and Tori is six.  I get along with them pretty good, but like all sisters, we do have our moments where we fight worse than cats and dogs!

When I grow up, I want to be a country singer.  I have been singing at local Opry shows for the past four years, since I was six, and I love the sound of applause and cheers that happen when I get done singing.  That makes me feel like a bona fide star!!  My favorite singer is Loretta Lynn, but I also love Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris.  I also love Garth Brooks and Vince Gill.

When I perform, I go by Kenni Denise.  Doesn't that sound like a name that belongs on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry?  That is one of my dearest wishes: to actually stand on the stage where Loretta, Garth, Dolly, and all the big-time country stars have stood; that would be uber cool!!  Until then, I guess the local Oprys will have to do.  Maybe some big shot record producer or talent scout will be in the audience and hear me sing!  

When I am not singing on the weekends (usually every Friday or Saturday night), I like to go to church on Sundays (we are Baptists), go out to eat, chill with my friends, talk on the phone, and write stories or poems.  I also love to read (any book will do), go to the mall, and roller skate, as well as dance and help out with the children at church on Wednesdays.  I am a very busy young girl, as you can see.

Well, I gotta go.  It's time to eat.  We are home today 'cause we had more snow.  We got something like six inches, and it's still coming down; we might get three or four more inches of it before the storm's said and done.  Goodie! That will allow me to test out the new sled I got for Christmas!  :)  I will write in here again; until later, this is Kenni Denise saying so long and God bless!
