"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said: 'Let there be light', and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good; and God devided the light from the darkness."  (Genesis 1:1-4)

Have you ever stopped to think about how the world was created?  Where plants, animals, the stars, sun, moon, trees, even people, came from?  How did they get here?  Who even had the time to create such beauty?

I firmly believe that it was God who made every living thing.  Man.  Animals.  Plants.  Trees.  Even the air we breathe.  

He also made the stars that shine in the sky, the sun, the moon, even the planets, the aurora borealis.  Lightning.  Thunder.  

And yes, even storms.

Man couldn't create something like a person (though they try, by making "designer" babies or cloning).

How can people look about them and see something like a rainbow or a breathtaking sunset and yet deny God even exists?  

God DOES exist.  It clearly states that God is above all things.  All they have to do is open up a Bible and see that very statement for themselves!

All they have to do is look around them.  Man couldn't have made the air, the mountains, the ocean, the trees and flowers, the birds of the air.

Some people have become so involved in things of this world that they put God aside or forget all about Him.  They take for granted the things God has created with His own two Hands or treat His creations badly (polluting the air, water, plant life, aborting babies, abusing children, women, animals, not caring for someone hurting or in pain, looking out for only themselves) ...

It makes me sad, and I am sure it must make God cry, too.

I refuse to conform to the ways of this world.  I take the time to enjoy what God has given me.  I thank God every day for the sun's rays, the stars twinkling at night, even the life-giving rains, the rolling thunder, the flashes of lightning; all the different kinds of animals, birds, and bugs that roam this world; even the lowly spider, cockroach, mosquito or earthworm are good enough to be thankful for because they are good for something, or else God wouldn't have made them!

When I see things like storms, the aurora borealis, the blaze of color of trees in the fall, the blinding whitness of a new snowfall, or the different myriads of clouds, I am in awe because I know I couldn't create something so life-changing or awe-inspiring!  Only God has the ability to do so, and THAT is enough to give Him all the glory and praise!!
