Egads. You mean I haven't written in my journal in nearly six months? Where is my head today (or lately)?? That isn't at all like me! Sorry about that!
Charlene (aka Caz) Tyndale here. I hope this finds you well. As for me, I'm ready for school to let out. We just had finals; our last day is this Friday. I can't wait to hit the pool or the beach or cruise the mall with my friends!
My sisters are doing better since they started counseling, I'm happy to say. They no longer have a weight/diet fetish; they are both acting like typical pre-teen girls, which is fine with me. Their dieting was starting to drive all of us crazy, especially me! They are too young to be worried about body image or grown up matters!
They are no longer acting like such BRATS, which is a huge relief on all our minds. They are actually quite pleasant to be around, which is a lot more than I could say six months ago!
Phaedra McIntyre (my best friend) broke up with Todd Gilstrap, her boyfriend. She broke up with him right after the Valentine's Day dance at our school; she caught him locking lips with a cheerleader. Now she doesn't want to have anything to do with boys. I don't blame her! She is much happier now.
Our cats are doing well. Cutie Pie (our Ragdll) is as fat and as lovable as ever while Midnight (solid black shorthair) is as schitzoid as ever. As for Raggy, we never did see him again. He's gone for good. I wonder if he is even alive; I really miss him .... he was such a sweet cat with a calm, loving personality, and he was abslutely adorable, too!
The weather here is warming up quick. Perfect beach weather. I'd much rather be at the beach or swimming or soaking up rays than to sit in a hot, stuffy classroom for up to eight hours a day! Now that the end of school is just upon us, the desire to hit the beach has only gotten a lot stronger, as it usually does this time of year.
Our senior pastor at church was hurt in a car wreck last week: he broke his back. He isn't paralyzed, thank goodness, but he is going to be laid up for a while. The assistant pastor is now conducting the services. We have been having prayer vigils for him (the senior pastor) around the clock, and on Saturday, our family visited him in the hospital. He looked so vulnerable lying in the hospital bed; it broke my heart!
In a few weeks is Bible camp; we have that every summer. This year I will be helping out with the little kids with their Bible lessons and to play games with them. I always have fun at Bible camp; I look forward to it every year!
For the Fourth of July, our family is going to go to Disney World; we are going to see the fireworks there. Should be a lot of fun; I am really looking forward to it! I haven't been to Disney World since I was small!
And tonight my favorite show is coming back on NBC. I am a huge fan of America's Got Talent; have loved that show since it started six years ago. Have seen a lot of fantastic talent go on to bigger and brigher things (David Militello, Kaitlyn Ashley Maher, Terry Fator, Jackie Evancho, and others); all have since become huge stars in their own right. Who will end up winning this year is anybody's guess.
Well, I am at school as I write this; it's time to switch classes (next class: English. I have been in Study Hall, which is where I do a lot of my journaling if I am not working on schoolwork). I will write in here again; hopefully I won't wait six months in order to do so! It's just life is CRAZY!! Take care and God bless; this is Caz Tyndale signing off!
