I guess since we're all just about retired, we'd try to keep ourselves busy by keeping our minds (and bodies) active.  Some of us don't move around or get by nearly as well as we used to before our health decided to go south, but we're not going to let it stop us.

We're all determined.  Very much so.  We may be in our sixties, seventies, or even eighties, but we all have the minds of young kids (by young, I mean people fifty or younger; some of us even act like teenagers! LOL).

We perform every week as part of a singing group called "The Silver Foxes (And Foxettes)".  We get a kick bringing joy to people who are in hospitals or nursing homes or people who are homebound; we even play bar (or bat) mitzvahs, weddings, or at churches (a little plug for our group, folks! LOL).

We take our singing or dancing very seriously: so much so, in fact, we are seriously thinking of sending an audtion tape to "America's Got Talent".  I think we have "the stuff"; we all certainly have the drive, the ambition, and the right attitude, things needed in order to win.  I think we could win a million dollars if we worked hard enough to polish our act to where it sparkles!

Myself, I have been sining ever since I was a small child back in Israel, where I was born (I moved here to the United States when I was 12; lived here since).  If I wasn' t singing for my family or my friends, I was singing for relatives, even complete strangers ... and I got a huge thrill out of it, especially when they applauded after I was done.  

I guess I was meant to be a star.  I have always had the show-biz bug in my veins.  :)

We really enjoy performing.  People may think we're a bunch of tottery, crazy senior citizens (and a lot of us are! LOL), but don't underestimate our talent!  If some goofy lady named GaGa can make it in show biz, then by G-d, so can a group of youthful senior citizens who want nothing more than to bring happiness wherever they go! :)

Pray we make it to "America's Got Talent"; that'd be the dream of a lifetime! :)
