Howdy from Tampa, Florida, where the sun shines hot and the heat is even hotter! :) 

It's your friend, Ladybug D. Jones (the D stands for Desiree').  I hope this finds y'all well and happy!  I am happy 'cause school just let out last week for summer vacation; we don't have to go back until the day after Labor Day!!  I am so excited!!  Now I can play all day and sleep in late!  I don't have to get up before seven in the morning!!  I can get up at noon if I want to!!  :)

We have a new sister; mommy and daddy adopted her from China.  She is so cute: she has the biggest black eyes and the sweetest face!  I know I am gonna have fun teaching her about being a kid!  She's been with us for about a month, and she is still getting used to us, but at least she no longer cries all night long like she used to when she first got here!

Her name is Firefly Autumn.  Isn't that a nice name?  (Firefly is two years old.)

I also have a brand new baby cousin; my aunt Junebug named her Ladybird Charlene.  She is very cute; she has a headful of red hair and big, big blue eyes!  She looks just like my one aunt, my aunt Tobi, who lives in Bradenton!

I'm happy to say that Monarch my brother (he's nine) and my sister Butterfly (she's twelve) are not here to bug me.  They are both at camp this week and next.  It's kinda' nice being the only child, but I'm not, not really: not with having Firefly around!  I love helping mommy take care of her; I love changing her diapers (excepting when they stink like poop; that's nasty!), dressing her up in her cute little outfits, and playing with her, trying to make her smile!

I see my best friend Gennifer Holmsby, but she knows I have a brand new baby sister, so she knows I can't come out and play like I used to.  Yet when we do we play for hours, and we have gobs of fun!

Grandma Grace, who lives in Orlando, is coming next month to help out with the baby while mommy, daddy, Monarch, Firefly, Butterfly, and myself go to Disneyworld.  She's coming here to Tampa, and we're going there to Orlando!  Isn't that the coolest?  I love going to Disneyworld; my favorite part is seeing all the Disney people and going on Space Mountain!  That is so gigundo fun!!

Well, I gotta go.  Mommy wants me to help with Firefly.  Firefly just had a nap, and I guess she needs a change.  I will write in here again; until later, this is Ladybug Jones saying bye!!
