Cedar Point ROCKS!!!!

Three guesses as to where I am at currently as I type this on my portable laptop.  

It's not at home.  It's not even in Pennsylvania (where I live with my family).

It's definitely not at school.  In fact, school ended just last week, and already we've started summer vacation with a bang.

It's a place where fun and excitement are the order of the day.

Oh, okay!  I guess I spoiled the guessing game by putting where I am at.  Oops!  Yeah, if you guessed Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio, America's Roller Coast, you get the million dollar prize! +Ding, ding, ding, ding!!+  LOL

Brian Winslow, aka "Beast", here.  I am currently sitting at one of the eateries, noshing on nacho cheese chips and chicken fajitas; man, are they GOOD!!  Then after my stomach digests some of this delicious food, I am going to hit more roller coasters with my sisters Eden and Paisley, who are as roller coaster-crazy as I am.  The wilder and scarier the roller coaster, the more we want to ride it!  

They have some awesome roller coasters here, including "Rapter" (that one's next!), "The Maverick", "The Magnum XL-200" (200-foot tall roller coaster, meaning the big hill), "Millennium Force" (that one is even bigger by 100 feet; that whopper's big hill is over 300 FEET tall!), "The Mantis" (stand up coaster; you are STANDING as you ride it!), and "The Mean Streak".  Then you have the "Gemini", which is a twin racing coaster, "The Blue Streak" (a classic roller coaster), "The Cedar Creek Mine Ride", "Wicked Twister", "Iron Dragon", "Gemini Junior" and "Snoopy Express" (both coasters are geared for future roller coaster riders who are too small to handle the big guns), and "The WildCat".

That's only the tip of the iceberg.  Cedar Point has a grand total of 17 roller coasters to choose from, ranging from the very mild to the extremely wild.  They even have a roller coaster here that goes at an amazing 120 miles an hour and is a staggering 400 foot high at it's tallest point!  That one is known as "Top Thrill Dragster" (but my dumb sister Eden calls "Rip-Yer-Face-Off" because it goes so fast!! LOL).  It's really scary!! Rode that one already and I nearly browned my pants, it scared me so bad ... and roller coasters usually don't scare me, but that one did! LOLOL

I don't think I will be riding "Top Thrill Dragster" again anytime soon ... LOL

The weather is perfect here: sunny and cool, with temps in the middle to upper seventies.  Can't ask for better fun-time weather!  Yesterday they had some bad weather, but it's since moved on.  It's probably visiting our home by now.  LOL

This isn't the first time we've been to Cedar Point: we've come here just about every year (sometimes more than once).  We have cousins who live in Sandusky; whenever we go to "The Point", we stay with our cousins, and we all go together as one big, happy family.  It's a yearly tradition in our family, and we always have the best time!

Besides riding rides, we kids pig out on all the junk food we can possibly have (within our budget, that is; if we don't have it, we always wheedle mom and dad for more money! LOL), buy cheaply made souvenirs or shirts bearing the Cedar Point logo on the front or shirts boasting about "Oh, I rode the Raptor and I kicked the sky!" or "I got my face ripped off on Top Thrill Dragster!", play some of the arcade or video games, try to win an outgragiously large stuffed animal, or laugh at the old people trying to act like kids as they stagger off the roller coasters, some of them clutching their chests.  

The adults act like typical grown ups (all business, not much time for fun), but get them on a ride, and they're giggling and laughing or acting stupid just like the kids; it's funny  to watch dad's mouth open in a perfect O as he tries to keep his dentures from flying out of his mouth, or mom clutching at her hairdo she'd had done only the day before, knowing that afterwards it's toast, so I don't even know why she even bothered getting her hair fixed in the first place.  If you ask me, that's a lost cause on her part: it's only asking for disaster! LOL

We kids act like goons; and this is about the only place we can act goofy without mom, dad, or the uncles or aunts telling us to behave ourselves because they're acting stupid and silly as well!  LOL

Cedar Point: the perfect place for family funnies and acting more like your shoe size than your true , given ages! LOL

Well, I am gonna grab my sisters and head on over to the Raptor so we can ride it.  I think our food is about digested now.  If not, whoopsie! Too bad! LOL  Hopefully it will be digested before we even end up on the ride!  LOL Time for more fun and thrills, Cedar Point style! Whee!!
