"The sun is no longer our friend: it is becoming our enemy."

Wendy Eagan continues to survive the effects of a catastrophic disaster in space and its effects on the Earth.

"Our Father, who art in Heaven ..."

Those are the only words that can come to my thoughts as I cope with yet more moon-related happpenings that continue to plague every corner of the earth ...

It is getting harder and harder to cope with the devastation that's encompassed the planet.  People continue to die in record numbers, pestilence and disease continue to spread like a plague-infested wildfire, food is getting scarce, and people are being told to stay inside their houses; if they even think of venturing out, they run the risk of getting arrested.

And the weather continues to get stranger and stranger, not to mention, all the more dangerous.  More tornadoes are forecast; in fact, yesterday, Wednesday, June 15th, 2132, an EF-10 tornado obliberated Nashville, Tennessee: wiped it clean off the map.  Thousands killed, even more than that missing or unaccounted for, numerous injuries, just about every building destroyed or demolished by the fantastic killer winds.

Yesterday, wonder of wonders, the power held; mom, dad, and I sat huddled in our basement, watching the drama unfolding on CNN.  It broke my heart to see those poor people wandering around, wondering if loved ones even survived, picking their way through the debris.  That people even survived is a miracle in iteslf, but it is a small consolation, as more even stronger tornadoes can be forecast for that part of the country.

And last month, a killer EF-7 tornado rocked Denver, Colorado, killing hundreds, but it pales in comparison to what struck Nashville, Tennessee, yesterday ....

Green, blue, purple, pink, and red uroras dance in our skies, on clear nights, and the sun continues to burn hotter and hotter: if people venture out, they run the risk of getting second or third degree burns, even if they are out for less than fifteen minutes; if we do go out, it's in brief increments, and we have to wear protective clothing, hats, even gloves and sunglasses, or else we can literally get cooked by the sun.

The sun is no longer our friend: it is becoming our enemy.

So far, the power has held, which is something of a record: one never knows when the power will go on the fritz.

At night, besides the auroras appearing on every continent on the earth, which is unheard of, we have to be on the lookout for asteroids or meteorites slamming into the earth.  Last month, a lady we knew from town was crushed by a meteorite; she was killed instantly.  We went to her funeral; she was a rather affluent member of our fair city.  It was a closed casket service; guess she looked pretty messed up, so the family requested that the casket not be opened at all during either the wake or the funeral service itself.

Good call on their part.

I don't know what the days ahead hold, but if all this ongoing disaster doesn't stop, I'm going to be the last person on earth, and I don't know what I would even do to survive!  I just wish this never happened; I wish we still HAD a moon!! I miss my life in the pre-moon disaster days!!

I want my old life back!! I hate struggling like this, day after day after day!!
