Those of you who have followed my blogs on Einstein, Physics and modern theoretical physics know what a tortured history this has entailed. I have also looked at the particle experiments operating in the Cern project and its purposes and goals. The idea here and there is to understand the nature of the universe and its functionings.
One upshot was that much is not known. We have been given ideas ranging from dark matter, dark energy, big bang, quarks, string theory, multiverses, electro-magnetism, extra dimensions and a virtual particle zoo of ideas.
I have tended toward the plasma theory of the universe which is chronicled on this site and others, citing mounting evidence that this theory might be correct.
But this blog will look at the summary of summaries asking the question what is the fundamental nature of the universe.
We have been told at various times that the fundamental problem in understanding the universe is:
1-The nature of matter and particles
2-The nature of energy
3-The nature of gravity
4-The nature of dimension
5-The nature of Aether
6-The nature of time
7- The nature of space
8- The nature of electro-magnetism
9- The nature of all interrelated in an expanding universe model
10-The nature of other interacting universes
We have been told that the universe in infinite, that the universe is finite that our universe is only one among many of almost an infinite number of universes.
On my own part, I propose that all of the above can best understood if we take seriously the proposition that the fundamental problem in Physics is finally getting serious about understanding the nature of space itself.
From the quantum level to the astronomical level we now understand that most of the universe is not composed of matter, but is composed of space. That means you and I as well since we are part of the universe as well.
The atom, we now understand, is itself, mostly space. The universe at the astronomical level is mostly space; space, which in both cases, we claimed has exotic properties such as dark matter, dark energy, meaning we don't have a clue what is going on with space.
So, it is clear, we do not have is a clear theory of space. I propose to rush to the rescue here with some ideas in the next few days in this space (forgive me) and see what happens.
But first, here are few ideas about nano-space as well as astronomical space.
Space has been variously characterized;
1-Space is empty; nothing is there, either on the small level or the large level (inter-stellar space.)
2-Space is composed of Aether, (yet undefined)
3-Space has charged particles and is, in fact, full of huge inter-glactic magnetic fields.
4-Space is full of waves which exist at all frequencies.
5-Space the medium of gravity, a medium as yet undiscovered-a theory Einstein criticized as a notion "of spooky action at a distance."
6. Space is the reciprocal of matter
7-Space is the reciprocal of energy
8. Space is a measurement of time
9. Time is a measurement of space
10, Space is composed of a Higgs Field (See the blog on Cern to get some background on this)
11- We don't have a clue what space is except that particles run around in it.
So as you can see this will be a merry romp as we go through these ideas about space.
But to start us off see the very latest research findings relevant to these ideas. See link below.

Note: The solution is likely going to be that space is not empty but filled with something like the Higgs field, or Aeather if you prefer. This space will likely be discovered to have the properties of Elementary Wave Theory and the Einstein Condensate.
Experimental resuts already hint this might be the case. Dark matter will likely turn out to be a soupy mix where the particle is not moving but is fact is being transported at tremendous speeds by a wave action. The double-slint experiment should have concluded not that light is a wave and a particle, depending upon the observer (that never made much sense did it?) Rather the slit experiment really shows waves transport particles (both ways according to Elemental Wave Theory) and therefore, waves break on the slits and particles sometimes go left and sometimes right.
Add the impact of eletromagnetic lines of force and ions moving along these lines of force in glaxactic oribits and we have the rudiments of a very different kind of physics.
Let's go into more detail in the coming days and I will provide a citation for the experimental results alluded to about waves transporting particles.
Think ponds, which if disturbed, produce waves and then particles are formed and transported along the crests and troughs of the waves. Is this true ?
Well we don't know that yet. But next week we might.
Now we have to entertain the idea of "strange matter"
