Dear Journal~
Sheniqua Williams-Milsap writing; hope this finds you well and trying to stay cool during these hot summertime days. One reason why I tend to stay in or if I DO go anywhere (like to my business), I make sure the air conditioning is in good working order. I own a beauty boutique; it's my livelihood.
I have to be so careful. Seeing that I do health issues, it seems the heat bothers me more now than it used to when I was younger (and healthier).
And it doens't help that I am pregnant. Yes, you read right. I, Sheniqua Williams, is going to have a baby sometime in the beginning 0f 2012. Too soon to know what it is, but Cordavious (my husband) and myself are both extremely excited about it!
Didn't plan on becoming pregnant so soon; it just ... happened. :) You know how those things go ... LOL
I just hope all goes well. As long as the baby is born healthy, then that's all Cord or I care about. Doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl: as long as it is born without any problems, then that's fine by the two of us.
We have been busy wrangling with the baby name book, trying to come up with a good name for the child I am currently carrying. If it is a boy, it will be named Cordavious Shane; if it is a girl, we will probably name her Jonquil Dashae', but those are just the preliminary choices as of this time. If anything changes, I will be sure to let you know.
My husband's brother Ronnie (yes that is his given name: Ronald Lee Milsap! LOL) asked me why I didn't think of naming our child Katrina if it was a little girl. I slapped him. He forgets that I was IN Hurricane Katrina nearly six years ago: I want absolutely NOTHING to do with the name of Katrina in any shape or form!
Well, I am starting to get sleepy; these hot summer days are really kickin' me in the azz. I will write again soon (hopefully when I do it will be cooler or else we will have had some rain; we are in desperate need of rain here!!).
