July 2011, Perth, Australia, Winter~

G'day, all!  Hope this finds you in fine fettle!

I am doin' just peachy; so is Susana, me partner.  We are trying to motivate ourselves into going to the mall; we'd like to go somewhere warm.  T'is very cold here:  even had snow here!  It has been a very cold winter; at times I think we are in the North Pole!  Or maybe even Alaska!

We even had auroras here; the auroras have been amazing!  All sorts of different colours as they dance their magical show in the southern skies at night.  More auroras expected, according to the Internet; t'is has been a very active season for auroral displays!

Tha auroras have quieted down somewhat, but I suspect the lull will be temporary: more sunspots forming, maybe be geometric storms later this week or possibly next.  Will have to be on the lookout for more auroral displays in not only the northern parts of the world, but the southern climes as well.

Great.  Bloody things muck up with the Internet and phones!  GRR! I hate that ... when the auroras are out, it's hard to get in a decent convo on the phone or watch telly or go online!  We have to wait 'til the bloody things settle down somewhat ...

I think the Christians who have been haranguing us finally got the message, the message that clearly states: "NOT interested!"  Good!  Susana and I have enough stress in our lives; we don't need more added to the fire!

Me pop is still trying to enter me life.  I say nothing doing.  Next time he calls or e-mails me, I'm gonna have the police on him faster than one can shout "Vegemite"!!  I don't want nothing to do with him; he violated me trust when I was a tot and I just don't want him to be a part of my life!  He hurt me sexually; I find it very hard to forgive someone who does that to an innocent babe or child!  

Me mum is better, but she still really hasn't accepted Susana or the fact that we are an "item".  Sad.  We live in one of the most open countries in the world, in terms of gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgenderal relationships, yet there are still those people who look down on gay or lesbian (or bi-sexual) couples with disdain or disgust, and it truly angers not only myself, but Susana as well!

I accept most anybody, whether they are gay or straight (or undecided).  The only people I really have a true problem with are those meddling Christians who shout "hellfire" or "damnation" at  us every time they see us in person.  There have been times where I nearly got into altercations because they were in my face and I decided I had finally had enough.  It has really been bad, but I think they will finally leave us alone!

I hope they do!

College is going well: I love most of me classes.  I am shooting for a graduation date in the spring or summer of 2013.  That's only two more years.  I'm in me second year in university (sophomore).  I am trying to find a record deal or have someone promote me and/or me music, but so far, nothing's come to light.  I hope this changes soon; I hate being a struggling vocalist/songsmith!

Good!  Susana has suggested we go to the mall; she says she's bored.  Well, the feeling's mutual.  I was hoping we'd go; I have some money that's burnin' a hole in me pockets! I would like to get the new book by Jodi Picoult ("Sing Me Home" is the title, I believe; not so sure on this).  I love just about anything that woman writes; she is probably me favourite author!  I will write in here again; until later, toodles!  Take care!
