It happened yet again yesterday. Thirty one American soldiers were killed by the Taliban when they shot down their helicopter. Seems that is happening far too often nowadays and the current President doesn't even give a rip ... what a joke he is .... Hell, not just him: ALL the politicians are a joke! One side is as guilty as the other, as far as I'm concerned ...
Hearing about soldiers dying day after day after day makes my blood boil. It's as if the enemy is getting away with murder while OUR boys and girls are dying at a record rate or are being charged with war crimes. What is wrong with THIS picture???? If I were the President, I'd be looking into this matter and making sure that our military is protected and/or at least kept safe!
The enemy has no soul. They would do anything possible to bring America to her knees. They don't know the meaning of the word "love". Maybe they did at one time, but their culture has driven it out of them and they have become nothing but a bunch of bloodthirsty, evil savages. They hate America (and Americans) and they would do anything to destroy her.
Seems like the enemy is succeeding, not only Over There, but here as well. Don't GET me started about how I feel about the current administration. What a bunch of panty wastes! I can't stand ANY of them. UCH! They make me sick!
I am trying to pray for the fallen )and their families), but it is getting harder and harder to do when I think about how many soldiers have died or have been gravely wounded ever since this damn war began back in 1993. And where did it get us? We haven't really accomplished much; if anything things are growing worse and if something isn't done immediately to stop the enemy, they could come here and then we'd have another September 11, 2001 on our hands ... and it could be much worse.
I dread to think about that; wasn't one September 11, 2001 ENOUGH??
I just hope that none of the victims were people I knew. I have several friends whose kids are serving in the military (Marines, Army, Air Force), and I wonder if they are having the same feelings I am. Right now I am so angry I can hardly see straight and if anybody dares diss the miltary (or my fellow Veterans), well, buddy, they're gonna have World War 3 on their hands! I am tired of the Veteran bashing and I am tired of people treating our soldiers like a pile of dog shit! ENOUGH is ENOUGH!! >:(
A sad story, something needs to be done so our men can be safe once more, they fight so we may be free they deserve all our respect and more

I'm sickened to learn what had happened. The U.S. President just don't care. The worth of human lives to him is like a dime a dozen. I'm feeling so sorry for those who are still out there somewhere and are missing their families and their chilren, deprived of the love, and the caring; yet they don't know if anything would happen to them then they would never see their family ever again. So sad!!!

This one rips the heart with unanswered questions of WHY? Because some are willing to pay that price, whether they want to or not. The ROE infuriates me. Our hands are tied behind our backs; we're not supposed to 'offend' the enemy. Oh, excuse me, but the enemy is shooting at us, using their own as bombs and shields, patting our shoulders with one hand and stabbing us in the back with the other, and we're supposed to be okay with that?!?? Being a 12 year veteran myself, having served from '71 to '81 and again in '03 & '04, it burns me to no end watching this craziness. We should either give it 100% and blow the entire country away or simply get the hell out and defend our own shores. Let them fend for themselves as far as I'm concerned.
