Jenna Aurora has become a new mother for the fourth time. Her newest child, a son, was born just a few days ago.

Anchorage, Alaska, August 7, 2011, Anchorage Medical Center~

A very sore Jenna Aurora writing.  Hope this finds you doing a lot better than I am at the moment ....

I just had our fourth child, Taqaq Joshiah, about five days ago, on the second of this month.  He was due on July 30; he wanted to come later: he was in no hurry ... LOL

I had a C-section.  Figured with all the trauma that I went through with Bella (and Kenai), I figured that this would be best.  I nearly died giving birth to Kenai, and I did the same with Bella.  Don't want to go through that again, so I opted to have the C-section.  Had no problems, which was a huge answer to prayer, but I am doing the C-section shuffle.  On crutches, it's even more fun ... NOT! +OW+

Maybe I should have waited til later before getting pregnant with Taqaq.  I should have waited a year or two instead of just a few months ... I am so stupid sometimes!

Bella will be one year old on the 28th of this month.  We plan on having a huge birthday bash for her.  We plan on taking lots of pictures (not to mention, video), so we can send it to all ou friends and/or post it to YouTube! :)  Show the world our beautiful and growing family! Hey, why not??  :)

I am  happy to say that Taqaq is perfectly healthy: weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces; he was fairly small.  Gonna be like me: petite.  I can see it already.  He is really tiny.  He has ten fingers, ten toes, and a headful of thick, black hair that stands straight up; it reminds me of a bottle brush.  LOL  He is so cute!

Michael is pleased as punch at the birth of his third son; he has part of a football team already in his midst!  LOL  Maybe four if Bella decides to go for football when she's older ... LOL  Girls can do whatever they want nowadays ... LOL

He's been telling all the guys at work about the new baby and has been passing out fake cigars everywhere he goes.  He is one proud papa!

I am happy Taqaq's birth went without a hitch, but I feel like I've been cut from hipbone to hipbone; I am in such agony it is all I can do to keep from crying out!  The nurses and doctors have been trying to ease it but it really doesn't seem to be doing much good!  I still say I am in severe pain; my pain level is probably at a 7 as of this writing.  OUCH! :(

At least I am trying to eat, but I hate hospital food.  I am going to beg Michael to go and get me a Whopper from Burger King when he comes in later ... I have to have REAL food, NOT this hospital horror!!

I should be released from the hospital in a day or two.  When I am, then Taqaq will be as well.  They want to keep me here to make sure I don't fall out of bed or have any unforseeable complications.  Don't blame them, but I miss my baby girl and I miss our boys!  I also miss our animals!

We did have some amazing auroral displays a few days ago.  I missed hem; Michael was telling me all about them and even took pictures/video of it.  I was too sick and in too much pain to care; all I wanted to do was sleep.  Then I come to find out that tonight starts the Perseid meteor shower.  Blast!  I will be too wrapped up with caring for my brood to worry about meteors!

Well, I hear a knock at the door.  It's either a nurse, the doctor, or (hopefully!) Michael.  I will write in here again when I get home; until then, this is Jenna Aurora saying so long!  God bless; pray I stop hurting and start feeling better!  Having surgery sucks!

~Love, Jenna Aurora, your friend in Alaska.  :)
