A storm chaser sees a very unusual sight in the clouds.

I wanted to use a particular image, but it was all Bitmap, so I had to use this one instead. This image is copywritten 2010, by Karla Dorman. Sorry. ...

August 1, 2011, Night (Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada)~

It was the weirdest sight I had ever seen in my life.  It was as if God, Himself, was in the clouds.  I think I literally saw His Face.

It scared the holy hell out of me.

I and a couple of storm chasing buddies of mine were at Joe's Breakfast Nook, this little dive on the edge of town, enjoying breakfast and slurping down coffee, when my friend Exeter shouted: "Hey, guys! You gotta see this!!  Omigod, this is absolutely mondo bizarro!"

Meego, Tommy, Bobby, and myself (Wayne) joined Exeter at the front door.  What greeted us was something out of the Book of Revelation in the Bible ... or at least something from a horror/sci-fi flick.  There was an approaching storm.  The clouds looked mean: they looked like they really meant business.  In amongst the clouds, leading the way, was a face.  A human face.  Eyes, nose, mouth, hair, beard, eyebrows: the whole nine yards.  And the Face did not look happy at all.

The clouds were moving at a very good clip.  It was only for a few minutes when we saw the face, but before long, it passed over and we knew the rains wouldn't be long in following.  Already the temperature was dropping and the winds were starting to pick up fast.

We ducked into the little restaurant, where we warned the staff and the patrons that a big storm was coming; they'd all best make sure the windows on their vehicles were closed and to batten down the hatches.  It was starting to lightning and thunder.  From the looks of this storm, it looked like it would put down a ton of rain in only a few short minutes.  It definitely looked severe, I surmised.

Sure enough, the rains came.  Oh, how it rained!  It poured.  It hailed (quarter to golf ball sized hail, maybe a baseball or two).  Lightning/thundered like sixty.  I'm surprised the storm didn't have a tornado hiding in there somewhere.  The power flickered on and off a few times, but it managed to hold.  Not even a half hour later, the storm migrated east, leaving us all breathing a sigh of relief.    Yet that Face was something we would probably remember for a long time to come; it was already being played over and over again on the news, on all the stations.  Even CNN and FOX News got a hold of it; it was being broadcasted all over the flipping world!

All I can say is this:  God isn't happy and I wonder if the Face was a sign of things to come: He was warning us that He would be sending His Son, Jesus, to come back to Earth sooner than we realized.

I will never forget it as long as I shall live.  I literally saw the Face of God in the clouds.  And it freaked me out!!
