Sorry for not writing in a while; kids (and my job at Wal+Mart) keep me grounded, as does partaking in church activities.  Hope you understand.

Hope this finds y'all well.  I am doing fairly good ... some days, though, it is all I can do to get out of bed, thanks to the ol' joints creaking.  My back is fine; it's everything else that's falling apart.  It's so nice not to wake up with crippling back pain and to move around a little easier!  Still using the crutches, but that's okay. I can live with that.  At least I can get around.  I'm thankful that I can at least walk!

I am still working at Wal+Mart.  Work there today, as a matter of fact; work from ten until six tonight.  A long day, but that's okay.  I get to sit in the comfort of an air conditioned office and keep an eye on things, thanks to security cameras; if I see sometthing's afoot, I can always notify authorities.  I I have a really hard job ... LOL  I love my job, but I don't love it when people act stupid by stealing stuff, thus driving the cost of everything up!  It is so pointless, and it really makes me angry!

I hardly see the little woman anymore.  Oh, we're still married, but Louie works at least 60 hours or more a week.  She has to, in order to feed this zoo.  She works anywhere from 12 to 18 hours a day as a nurse at the hospital that's close to us (Nashville Memorial).  She loves her job as well, but sometimes she gets overwhelmed with all the suffering, sickness and death she has to deal with every day.  Sometimes, she comes home in tears.

All I can do is hold her in my arms and try to reassure her.  Let her know she's making a difference.

I'm so glad for the weekends when she's off.  Then she can be a mother to our brood and take some of the slack off of me.  If I have to work, then it's not so bad, as Mom and Pop Moliere' can watch over the family.

But they're getting on in years, and it's not fair to them.  They should be enjoying old age.

We are getting ready for the wedding of the century.  In just a few short months, Johnny will be getting married.  Never knew so much planning went into getting ready for a wedding!  Johnny will be getting married in October;.  

He is marrying a wonderful young lady we have all come to love; her name is Rebekka Rachel.  She is a Messianic Jew.  We have no problems with that.  As long as Johnny will treat her well and love her, then that's all that matters!

Johnny is extremely excited, as you can imagine.  He is looking forward to spending the rest of his life together with her.  While they may not be able to have children (thanks, in part, to Johnny's muscular dystrophy, because there's a good chance he could pass it on to his offspring), they can always adopt.  So there's hope yet for a family for them.  That will mean more grandchildren for us to get to know (and spoil)!

The younger children are getting on my nerves.  In and out, in and out, constantly!  The sound of the door banging, from sunrise to sundown, with no break in between.  And their shouting.  Wow.  I am more than ready for school to start!  Louie and I both need a little breathing room!  LOL  Yet then you will have football games or cheerleading practice or sporting practice/events to contend with.

 YUCK.  At times, I wonder why we even became parents.  I bet God is up there in Heaven, laughing His face off!!  Must be enjoying the Sandusky Show here on Earth!

The weather here is hot: highs in the lower nineties.  At least the worst of the heat is behind us.  Not like Texas, which continues to bake with 100+ degree heat, with not much relief in sight until sometime next week (later on).  I feel so bad for them.  I have a daughter (Steffi) who lives in Texas with her fiance'; they must be miserable down there with all the heat!  (Steffi and Tank live in Fort Worth, Texas.)

It's also been hot in Oklahoma, where Anh and Thu live.  They live in Oklahoma City, where Anh is studying for his pastorship.  He is still planning on becoming an evangelistic pastor and have his own church.  God called him into the minstry, so he is following up on it.  We are very proud of him; Anh has always been a very ambitious young man.

Good news on their end: Thu is pregnant!  She is about three months along.  We found out about it last month.  So we will be having another grandchild sometime next year.  She was pregnant earlier this year, but she lost the baby.  It was very devastating for all concerned.  Suddenly there's hope; it's funny how God can bring joy after tragedy and give people a reason to believe in miracles!

Mom and Pop Moliere' are doing as well as can be expected, but Pop Moliere' has been having a time with his shingles acting up.  He's miserable.  I feel so sorry for him!  He's been going to and from his doctor, trying to find the right medications to help ease the pain and itching.  And the heat just seems to make them act up worse.  I have been saying some prayers for him; I pray he gets the relief he so desperately needs!

Well, I'd best shower and get ready for work; it's gonna be a long day.  I will write in here soon.

Good thing I'm off tomorrow.  Could sleep in, but church will have me out of bed early.  Ushering, and I have to be wide awake to greet the congregants!  Don't mind, but one Sunday it would be nice to sleep in ...
