Darn!  I wish we could stay longer, but the park people just announced that there are bad storms coming in from the north/northwest.  You can see lightning over the lake and it looks like the storms mean business.

We are on our way to our car.  Good thing Mama and Daddy didn't park too far out, thanks in part to my little brother, Kendrick, who is in a wheelchair.  He cannot walk.  He was born with something called spina bifida, which made his legs and lower half paralyzed.  

Another good thing about Kendrick:  because of him, we didn't have to wait in line to ride the rides.  We got to go where they got off; when the ride operator saw our "special pass", he allowed us to get on the ride once the previous riders got off.  NO waiting AT all.  It was so great!!  And not only that: we got to ride DOUBLE (two rides in a row) while everyone else got to ride only ONCE!

I just hope we get home before the storms come in ...  

Now we are in our car and Daddy is listening to the radio.  He says that our area is under a tornado watch until five in the morning.  Guess that means we won't be getting much sleep tonight until the storms roll through ... great.  I HATE storms!!  I just hope no bad old tornadoes come or that we don't lose power ... we've already had a lot of storms this spring (and again this summer; we don't NEED any more bad weather)!!

Anyway, back to my story.  We got to Cedar Point right as it opened and the first thing we did (after Mama and Daddy got the tickets) was to go to Guest Services, where we got the special ride passes for Kendrick.  The lady at the desk said that whoever was with him could ride right along with him, so WE got double rides as well, not just my little brother!  I was like, "COOL!"

The first ride we rode was the Raptor Roller Coaster.  That's my favorite ride of all time.  No matter how many times I've ridden it, I never get tired of it!  It's WICKED-AWESOME!!  After that we went on the new WindSeeker, which was also really cool.  Then we rode the BlueSreak and the Magnum XL-200.  I wanted to ride the Millennium Force, but it wasn't working (the ride was closed) and the Top Thrill Dragster was having problems, too, so I didn't get to ride that either.  

BUMMER!!

Affter we rode the Blue Streak for the third (and fourth) time, Kendrick announced that he had to go to the bathroom, so we took a potty break and then got lunch.  We ate at the Chicken Place (don't know the real name of the place), where we all had fried chicken, french fries, cole slaw, and a big 32 ounce Big Gulp Pepsi.  (Kendrick had the child's plate; he's only seven and a half.  He can't eat like the rest of us; he gets full too fast.)

Once we got done eating, we walked around for a few hours until our food digested; then we went back to MORE RIDES!!!!  We rode rides until just before nine, when the park guy announced about the incoming bad weather.  We had a blast!!

I'm just sorry the weather had to ruin our fun.  It was nice until about five; then it started clouding over the lake.  It just got cloudier and cloudier and just before we were gonna go on the WindSeeker one last time, that was when the park guy said about the weather, which made all of us sad, especially Kendrick.  He was so disappointed he cried.  I ddin't, but I wasn't amused.  I wanted to stay til the park closed; then we could have watched the fireworks, but they ended up cancelling those too because by then, it was getting rather windy.

Well, I hope you liked my story.  I had to tell you about our day at Cedar Point.  Cedar Point is the best amusement park on the PLANET!! I just LOVE that place so much!!  Pray we don't get any nasty weather; just saw the radar on tv and it really looks BAD!!  YUCK!!  I HATE storms, but I HATE them worse when they make us have to leave Cedar Point earlier than we had planned!  And I HATE night time storms even more!!
