Shifty here.  Shifty Osgood.  Yeah, I'm still here, but I no longer live in Ohio.  Came to Texas to find me a job and still ain't fount nothin' yet.  People don't wanna hire me: no address, no vehicle, no experience, over 30 years of age, and disabled. 

Doesn't help that I have to walk everywhere.  In this heat it's the worst.  Today, it's supposed to be 105/107 freakin' degrees.  If I even attempt to walk in this crap, I just might end up buyin' the farm, so I am gonna put my job huntin' until it cools off in a few days.  Can't take the heat none.

No, sir!

I am still roamin' around, tryin' to find a place to cool myself from the heat or to lie my head down for the night, but nothing doing.  Move around from place to place, praying, hoping, that someone can help me, but no luck.

I am using two crutches now.  Found another one in the Dumpster.  It don't match the one I got now, but hey, as long as it helps my balance and takes the pressure of my achy joints, then I'm all for it!  I seem to be doing better since I found the second crutch.

I don't know what I have done to deserve all this heartache.  I  guess I deserve it for swindlin' my friend like I done.  I just wish God (or somebody) would give me a break; life has gotta be better than the one I'm livin' now!

Well, hot dog!  I just found $20.00!!  Cool! Now I can feed myself; I am so hungry my stomach thinks my throat's been cut!  And I am sure people can hear my stomach talkin' clear to Dallas!  I will write again soon; just keep me in your prayers!  Pray I find a job soon!!They would be very much appreciated!  Thanks in advance!
