Greetings! This is Slobo Trbanek writing.  Hope this finds you well.

Life for me continues to be good.  Keeping busy: working at the mattress store (got another raise!).  Going to church every Sunday and Wednesday (mornings on Sundays and evenings on Wednesdays).  On Sundays I am an usher; I love it because I get to greet the people when they come in and get to meet/make new friends.

I am still engaged to Ivanka Petrovich.  We have set our upcoming wedding date for December 20, 2011.  We will have our wedding at our church.  Famly and friends are welcome to come, where we can then celebrate our new lives together.  

I never realized just how much work goes into planning for a wedding, but we are just about done.  The big part is over now, but we still have some work to do yet.  Then we both can breathe easier.

I am working on a book about my life back in Bosnia, and my life here in America.  Think it would be interesting for people to read.  

It should be out sometime next year if all goes according to plan.

I am working on practicing my walking with my new legs.  Still not quite used to them yet, so I am continuing to use the crutches.  That is okay.  As logn as I can walk again, then that's all that matters.  Hopefully one day I can walk without them, but for now, I feel safer with my little crutches.

Back in June, I graduated from my ESL classes.  Got a certificate/diploma and everything.  I am most proud of this.  When I first came to America several years back, my English was terrible; it was very hard to communicate and/or find someone who spoke the Slavic language.  Thank God I had my mamma to help me; she spoke both English and the Slavic tongue.

Well, sorry this isn't long, but I have to clock out; my shift at work is nearly over.  I'm then off for the weekend.  Tomorrow I will sleep in and Sunday is church day; church, as you can see, keeps me very busy and focused on Jesus.  I love my Lord and Savoiur!  He is everything to me; I love serving Him!
