You might not remember who I am, but that is okay.  Life has a way of flying by when one least expects it, as it did in my case.

Let me reintroduce myself to you.  My name is Grace Courage Riley.  I am 21 years old.  I live in Burleson, Texas, with my family: my mom, Hannah, and my dad, John (Dad works for the Burleson Chamber of Commerce; as for Mom, she is a part time nurse's aide and full time mom and homeschool teacher), my two younger sisters Angel Miracle and Heaven Joy (they are 18 and 13), and our younger brother, Kevin Charles, who is only 7.

We have four cats: "Wiggles", "Charlie", "PurrBucket", and "Tickly-Poo" (all Maine Coons), as well as three dogs (Pomeranians; their names are "Silky", "Ryan's Hope", and "Gigi".

We have a houseful, as you can plainly see.

I graduated from high school three years ago and am attending Hill College here in Burleson.  I am studying to become a child psychiatrist.  It is very hard work, but it is also very interesting: I love learning new things every day!  I love it because I can still be at home and yet do my own thing.  

Besides going to school, I work at the H-E-B store, which opened nearly a year ago.  I work in the bakery department.  I have worked there since the store opened lnearly a year ago, and I really enjoy it.

We had a very bad scare last year: our dad suffered a massive heart attack.  We nearly lost him.  It took many desperate prayers (and God's mercy and grace) to pull Dad through.  He is doing much better, but he has to be on blood thinners and medication for the rest of his life.  The only bad thing is whenever he accidentally bumps himself, he gets these horrible bruises and it looks like someone beat the stuffing out of our father.

Dad also has to eat a diet low in fat and salt, which was hard for him because he was the original Junk Food King!  That was a very big change for not only him, but for all of us.  We now eat healthy.

In addition, Mom makes sure we get plenty of exercise and time outdoors.  It's made a world of difference.

Seems the only time I'm online is either early in the morning before I go to work (or school if I'm off work, like I am today) or late at night, before I retire for the night.  Then I play on the computer, such as I am doing now.  :)

Seems I gotta have some Facebook or some GodTube ... :)

Well, I have to get up, so I can get ready to go to class and eat some breakfast.  I go to school today from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Then I go to get my check from work and pay my bills.  Maybe if I have any money left over, I can go to the mall; I haven't been to Ridgemar Mall in ages!  Maybe I can get some ideas as to what I can get for my family for Christmas; Christmas will be here before you know it ...
