A boy gets down from an auto ( cab ) late at midnight.The boy lives up on top of a small hill,so he halted the auto at the foot of the hill,as the autowala ( cabbie ) refuses to go up.
The autowala charges him more saying late night fare,but the boy argues and pays him less.As soon as he pays the fare,he sees a wicked smile on the autowala's face.To make sure,he looks again,but the autowala vanishes right in front of him into thin air.
Feeling scared,and uneasy the boy quickly turns and tries to walk up the hill path towards his house. Its a 20minutes walk! So he hurries.Suddenly the auto light flashes on him from behind.Now terrified the boy begins to run up.
He gets tired soon after a few steps,and is shocked to see the auto slowly following him.(The auto had previously refused to go up the hill )
He quickens his footsteps,but the auto has already reached by his side.He looks towards it,he sees that theres no driver inside it.
Instead,he hears someone say in a coarse,muffled voice,'Lift Chahiye?'( Want a Ride? ) from inside the empty moving auto.As he runs up the hill,he hears laughter comming from the auto thats moving alongside him in equal speed.Panicking the boy rushes to reach his house,but the journey seems to get longer and longer.
