Teeka Daniels updates us on what is going on in her life.

November 2011, Galveston, Texas~

Greetings from Galveston!!

Teeka Daniels here.  I hope this finds y'all doing well.  As for me, I'm doing okay.  I have my good days and my bad ones, so there you go.  Somehow going to the beach and listening to the waves pounding and smelling the salty, sea-scented air invigorates me.  I always feel better after spending time there.

The weather is warmish and pretty out: more time to spend on the beach later on.  Was hoping to make it to church today, but I overslept.  Just got up not even ten minutes ago; I am still trying to peel my eyeballs open.  LOL

Momma hasn't had a drink since the last time I had written and even then she was doing well.  I am very proud of her.  Know it can't be easy for her, especially when things go awry or when we kids drive her crazy.  Daddy is doing great; nothing really new with him.  I pray that continues.  I love my Momma and Daddy so much!

Tyler is starting to settle down since losing his (and my) brother nearly three  years ago, but we both have our days where we all turn sad and remember.  At least there's one good thing about JaVonte' 's passing: he doesn't have to worry about hurricanes or any other bad things that are happening in our world today.  He's finally at peace and he lives with Jesus, God, and all the angels, and that makes me happy.

JaVonte' died two years ago this past February.  He was six years old.  He died from complications of the swine flu.  It was really bad and there was really nothing anyone could do to stop it from happening.

We miss him, especially during holidays like Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July and Christmas.  Now the holidays are quickly approaching and so we will probably be thinking more and more about JaVonte' and how much we miss having him around.

School is okay, but I'm not so sure about some of the teachers I have this year.  Some of them are real task-masters and pile on the homework fast and thick.  I just hope that they don't give us any assignments during Thanksgiving or Christmas (winter) break, or I will be picked off big time!!  That always seems to happen and I don't like it ONE bit!

Also am having some issues with some of the girls there who think they are better than best and they look down upon me and my friends.  I try to avoid them at all costs but sometimes it is next to impossible.  I wish they would just go to the ends of the earth and fall off.  I can't STAND people who think they are better than anyone else!!

They also make fun of my name and call me Tipi or Pee Pee or something equally stupid.  They make me so mad I want to knock their blocks clean off!!

Well, I'm gonna get me some breakfast and then do my chores; after that, it's BEACH TIME, BABY!!  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been so durned long!  I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me!

Take care and may God bless you always! If I don't say so before, have a good Thanksgiving and Christmas! (Hopefully I'll write BEFORE then!)

~Love, your friend, Teeka DaSha'e.  :)
