The Bible-

“All things are possible.” (Luke 18:27)

Or Poe-

It was many and many a year ago,

In a kingdom by the sea,

That a maiden there lived whom you may know

By the name of Annabel Lee:

And this maiden she lived with no other thought

Than to love and be loved by me.

Perhaps Landor-

Death stands above me, whispering low

I know not what into my ear;

Of this strange language all I know

Is, there is not a word of fear.

And of course, Byron-

In secret we met—

In silence I grieve

That my heart could forget,

Thy spirit deceive.

If I should meet thee

After long years,

How should I greet thee?

With silence and tears.

Lovely JC. You have lovely memories of your dad. I haven't read any of Edgar Allan Poe except that he was a writer of horrific tales. This almost sounds like a love poem. Or did Annabel Lee have a terrible ending.
