An enormous demension that is filled with beautiful star light, Mars alone; one of your small planets that is strange, and an uninhabited mass of land. Life maybe, maybe none what so ever to exist. Red in color, and it's not just another object in orbit. Never the less it is there, and very well serves its purpose. Imagine that your living on Jupiter, you look up and see Pioneer one pass you by in a silver flash by night. Perhaps it caught you in the corner of its eye. Perhaps it captured you alone in its line of sight. Is its line of flight to curve mankinds knowledge towards better life? Far away in a dark corner of your universe, you'll find a small planet with the name know as Pluto. Cold and desolate, yet still very much alive with something that struck the imagination of mankind within itself! Probably curiosity! Who knows? It may have been something else, probably a secret! Beyond your bright planets in an orbital pattern lies another time of life. It's at least a few light years out of reach from your present solar system, and alive with feelings some what like our own state of Mind. Never will a starship of your present origin be powerful enough to reach them; Never to reach the home called, "Alpha Centuri".

Boy this is short!
I hate to tell you, but this is *not* a fantasy. It's sci fi. According to the former critique group I was in, a fantasy is anything involving sword and scorery, knights, ladies, lords or royalty, trolls, dwarfs. A good example of a fantasy is Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series and "The Hobbit."
This seems more like a poem than a short story.
