My name is Cameron Gugenheimer, but most people call me "Goog" or "The Goog".  Guess that ain't too hard to figure out how I got my nickname ...

I am fourteen years old.  I live with my family in Nashville, Tennessee.  I am in the eighth grade at Donelson Middle School, but I am more than ready for Christmas (winter) break!!

I have a mom and dad, and I have brothers and sisters.  My brothers are named Corbin and Chase; as for my sisters, their names are Chastity and Christina; all are younger than me.  There's five of us kids in the family. 

I get along okay with my brothers and sisters, but like all kids, we fight on occasion.  Now that it's Christmas (almost; Christmas is in thirteen days!), I'm trying my darndest to try to get along with them.  Ain't easy, though ...

Yesterday, we went to church.  We go to Christ Community Assembly of God Church, which is a nondenominational church (Pentecostal mainly, but people of ALL faiths are welcome to come worship with us).  They had their annual Christmas Cantata yesterday and the music/fine arts ministry all did an awesome job!  I wish I could sing, but I sound like a dying frog!  LOL

It was a packed house.  Not one seat was empty.  I hope the message the performers were trying to convey reached hearts and souls.  The choir/drama team/sound and lighting crew, soloists, and director certainly worked their butts off getting this thing together for the congregation to enjoy!

I am a typical teenage boy: I like sleeping in on the weekends (but not on Sunday: church!), hangin' out with my friends, playing sports (basketball is my game, but I like to play football and baseball as well), playing on the Wii system we have in our recreation room/basement, watching movies, serving the Lord by helping others, collecting rocks, performing in band (I play the drums), and annoying my brothers and sisters.  In addition to all this, I also love to write and create stories.

I would like to become a professional writer or if I can't do that, then I would like to become a pastor.

Sometimes kids tease me, if not for my name, but for the fact that I happen to be a Christian and my career choices.  It's not fun being teased, but I try to ignore them and pray for them.  I pray that God makes them see that I am really a nice person and that by their teasing, they are only hurting me (or others) and are missing out on the potential of making an awesome friend.

Well, I gotta get up.  School in a few hours ... no, wait!  We are on Christmas break; we don't go back until the sixth of January!  So I guess that means I will go back to bed! YAY!!
