We have been friends ever since kindergarten.

We plan on being friends if God sees to it.  

My name is Minnie.  I am ten years old.  My friends are Roscoe, Tabitha, and Cooper, but to me they're known as Porkchop, Termite, and Kermit.  They are ten, too, like me.

We are all in the fifth grade, but Kermit is in fourth.  He has special needs.  He is learning disabled.  He has a lot of problems with reading, writing, and math, so he got held back.  He's doing a little better, but he still needs an awful lot of help.

We became friends when some big, bad older kids were picking on Kermit about his disabilities.  Porckchop and Termite beat the wahoo out of the kids, with me helping.   The kids haven't bothered Kermit since.  

If anyone dares to tease Kermit, then they will have us to deal with.  We may be small, in comparison to the older kids, but we are formidable.  We know how to protect ourselves (and others).

We can't wait until Friday.  We start Christmas vacation.  Christmas vacation for us runs from Friday, December 16th until January 5th.  Over two weeks of fun, surprises, and freedom from school, books, homework, and teachers' dirty looks!  

Yay!!

Seeing the weather is nice and cold out, we plan on making snow angels, snowmen, or snow forts if it snows enough, drinking lots of hot chocolate, and sitting by the fireplace.  We also plan on walking around the neighborhood, looking at all the pretty Christmas lights and singing Christmas carols.

We do this just about every year and it's a lot of fun!!

Well, school is about to end for the day, so that means three more days before CHRISTMAS VACATION!!!!!  And Christmas!!!!  We canNOT wait!!!  I will go so I don't miss the bus!  I hope you enjoyed my story!
