I don't understand things sometimes.  

I mean, for years nobody seemed to have a problem with me singing religious Christmas songs at work or sending cards that had pictures of the baby Jesus, Mary,  Joseph, the Wise Men, the stable, the manger, or angels on the front, or giving my co-workers candy canes for Christmas.

All of a sudden it is deemed as a sin by my boss or by several of my co-workers because they say it is "offensive" to their "beliefs".  

Oh, really!!  Since when??

I have been told several times about this by my boss and my non-believing co-workers and today my boss gave me an ultimatum: if I don't stop bringing Christian-themed items to work or stop singing songs like "O, Holy Night", "Silent Night", "Joy To The World", or "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" while I am working, I will be in danger of losing my job.

I have worked for my company for over ten years.  I had no problem until the new boss/owners took over and it seems that they are doing everything possible to get rid of me because I refuse to bow down to the political correctness bullcrap that's invaded our country.  

I'm sorry.  I can't help the way I am or how I happen to believe!

People have the right to believe any way they so choose, but it seems as if the Christians are being punished because the leaders (and the government as a whole) is doing everything possible to remove God or Jesus from our country.  People who are not Christians seem to be given more in the way of expressing their rights and nobody pays them any mind; yet if WE, being Christians, do, then we are reprimanded or treated like pariahs!

I know it says in the Bible that in the last days the love of many will wax cold, but this is getting ridiculous.  I see nothing wrong with celebrating my Christian faith or the birth of my Lord and Saviour!  If people can celebrate the more "secular", commercial aspect of Christmas (i.e., Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, or songs like "Deck The Halls", "Jingle Bells", "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", or "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer", then WHY can't I sing "O, Holy Night" or make reference to the new-born babe found lying in a manger??

It just doesn't seem fair or right, in my honest opinion.

If things don't improve soon (and it doesn't look like they are going to), then I might have to look for another job or a place that has Christian-based values because where I am at now is not fun any longer.  I no longer enjoy my job; it is getting to be a trial!
