G'day!! 

It's me, your friend, "Didgeridoo" (aka Scott) Dawkins, writing!  Hope this finds y'all in fine form!  As for me, I have a bit of a cold, so no church for me this morning.  Seems I'm not the only one: Mum and me little brother and sister (Darwin, who's three, and Colbi, six) have it too.  They're abed, coughin' their fool heads off.  Darwin, particularly, sounds very bad.

The only ones who are well are Pop, Grandma Rosie, and Veronica, my big sister.  Oh, and let's not forget "Vegemite" either! He's okay too; no worries!  ("Veggie" is me Pug.)

I have since returned back to school; Monday we went back, and it was good to see me chums again!  I just don't like all the homework the goon teachers piled on us!  Just compoleted the last of it yesterday, so today's free.  Just woke up a while ago, but plan on going back to sleep when I get done here.

I'm praying that Grandma Rosie doesn't end up getting sick.  She already has breathin' trouble; she's on oxygen a lot of the time and a cold might do her in.  And Darwin, he has never been very strong: he gets sick faster than the drop of a hat!

Anyways, back to my story.  The weather is cold and snowy out; not a day to be outside for man OR beast.  Dangerous wind chills too, in the sub-zero category.  Temps in the 20's (Farenheit, NOT Celcius!) with stiff northerly winds in the 30 to 40 degree realm, making it seem even colder.  The weather people are advising people to stay indoors unless for emergent purposes and to stay off the raods due to the extremely treacherous weather conditions.

At least I have my new plasma TV and my new computer games to keep me busy.  And I don't have to worry about Corbi bugging me like she usually does!  I just hope Veronica isn't much of a beast; she can be so mean-spirited sometimes! She loves annoying me to no end!!

We had a nice Chrissie.  As I alluded to above, I got a plasma television,  new games for my computer, new games for my Wii system (that's in the den; the Wii system was our big gift; it's for the whole family to enjoy), money (spent well over 1/2 of it; I have maybe 40 on my person; I got a total of #200.00!), some books in the Daniel X series by best-selling author James Patterson, and of course, clothes, socks, underwear, and new shoes.

For New Years, we went bowling all day; the games were free all day.  Lots of people showed up; it was CRAZY!!  Yet I still had fun; managed to win a few games, so that was alright! :)

I went bowling with me chums.  'Twas nice to get away from the Monster disguised as me big sis, Vernoica!  And Mini-Monster Colbi!

Let Mum and Pop deal with the Monster-Sisters and let ME have MY fun! :) (And I did, too, especially when I won those games!  Righteous! :) )

Then on Monday we returned to prison (aka "SCHOOL").  O, joy! (NOT!!)

At least I got me homework done, so I am able to salvage SOME of this weekend!!  :)  Too bad the weather is nasty out; otherwise I'd be playing some football or throwin' the frisbee around or playing some B-ball with me chums!

Well, gettin' crosseyed, so I'm gonna go back to Dreamland! Hopefully I won't get up before noon!  (That's the plan, anyway, 'less Pop has other plans! :) )  Take care; I will write in here again soon!  God bless!
