For me, things remain about the same. No real big changes on how people treat me or the teachers getting involved to stop this continuing bully problem that I face.
I'm sorry. I can't help the fact that I am fat, live in government housing, can't afford the nice clothes that the richer, more well-to-do kids can, or the fact that I am not an athlete or a super-achiever. I'm just me, and right now, life sucks.
Kids are still calling me "Dump-Boy". Now isn't THAT a lovely nickname to be branded with?? It sounds like I am digging in trash cans when nothing could be further from the truth. I am an average middle-schooler who happens to live in a (fairly) nice apartment with his familia and one who is trying to keep his nose clean.
I hate it. I would much rather have them call me "Beaner" or some other name than "Dump-Boy"! "Beaner" isn't nice either (it's a racial slur directed at Mexican-Americans like myself), but right now I would take it over "Dump-Boy"!!
I don't know why the teachers don't get involved and nip this thing in the bud. Maybe then I would look forward to going to school and get through one day without being picked on or coming home from school with my stomach in knots or on the verge of tears once again! There has gotta be a better way for a bullied kid like me to live!!
If the bullying problem doesn't let up soon, I am gonna ask my Mami y Papi if we can move to a smaller city or at least far away from this stupid school district!
Poor kid. It's a shame when anyone has to live in fear of what his day will bring and it is high about time that the teachers in the child's school are brought to task for allowing this to go on day after day.
