Life and death in the way God has designed will hit us anytime. For know man knows the day nor the hour!!

"Ma'am we're so sorry, but you are too late to catch that flight. You will have to wait on the next one as a standby.  Hopefully things will work out for you" the friendly attendant stated with a huge smile.  For a brief moment I was stunned with the news but quickly thought by missing the flight I can put off the inevitable. With this thought a smile sparked and a new stride was added to my steps.  My friend and I found a table at Houlihans to sit, relax and have a drink before the next flight.  I began to feel peace come over me and a familiar presence surround me.

I began to reach for my chest as if I were gasping for air.  My friend asked if I was alright but I couldn't muster a sound for each time I tried I felt life and breath leaving my body.  My friend's eyes began to show sign of panic and fear.  I tried desperately to talk, but the presene I felt held me tight as if it were trying to squeeze the life out of me. My mind and heart began racing as I grabbed for my chest. My friend stood up and ran to my seat and put his hands around my waist and squeeze as if he were performing the hemilich manuever.  As soon as his hands touched me I was able to breathe and talk and answer my ever ringing phone.

I can't believe they've had the nerve to say this over the telephone; better yet, l I received a text.  It read simply "She's gone"!  Thoughts ran through my mind racing so fast it caused me to fall over in my seat. I began to speak aloud to no one in particular.  "Wait, what?  Who's gone?  What do you mean? What are you talking about?  This text can't be right.  God you can't do this! Not now, not ever!  What form of testing is this?" I asked with hot tears in my eyes.   God,,,, my mother has died!!!!!!!
