My name is Jade Elise Green.  I am 10 years old.  I live with my family in Parkersburg, west Virginia.

I am in the fourth grade.  My teacher this year is Mrs. Gaige.  She is very nice.  

I have a mommy and a daddy, as well as two sisters and one brother.  I am the second oldest child (and the oldest girl).  There's four kids in my family.  Three girls and one brother.  My brother's name is Marcus Allen (13).  My sisters, meanwhile, are Amity LeAnn (8), and Trinity Grace (5).  I get along with Amity okay, but Marcus and Trinity both drive me bat crazy!  Marcus is too bossy; as for Trinity, she is spoiled rotten and whines constantly!  

Our grandpaw and NiiNii Roberta live with us too.  They are Mommy's mommy and daddy.  

In addition to the people in my family, we also have pets.  We have twelve cats and three dogs.  I have two kitties and a dog.  My kitties' names are "Precious" (grey and white short hair) and "Diamond" (Maine Coon; she has long fur and looks like a tabby, but has white paws and white on her chest).  My dog's name is "Lady Di"; she is a weiner dog.

When I am not in school, I love to play with my friends, sing, go to country music concerts, write stories, read, watch the Boomarang Cartoon channel on TV, go roller skating at the local skating rink, and play basketball or soccer.  I also love to swim and look at the stars when the weather's clear out.

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher, just like Mrs. Gaige.  She helps us kids when we have trouble with our lessons and is very, very smart.  You can tell she knows her stuff!

Today we didn't have school; we had a long weekend.  It was nice being able to sleep in for three days straight! Today I didn't get up until ten, but on Saturday, I got up at noon!  Yesterday (Sunday) we got up early 'cause we had church.  We go to church every Sunday; we go to a Baptist church.
