Hello from Music City, U.S.A.!

Thought it was time for me to update people on what has been going on in my life.  Here goes ...

I am still living here in Tennessee with my roomie (and best friend), Pulalay Khelefi.  She is my biggest support system and makes a good surrogate mamma to E.J. (my son).  When I am not feeling good or am having problems with my seizures acting up, Pulalay is always there to keep an eye on him.  She is a wonderful friend; I love her like a sister!

I have been having more seizures than usual because Dumb-Ass (Eddie, E.J.'s daddy) is trying to woo me back.  I mean, the kid has a right to see his daddy, but not if he's gonna treat me bad.  Eddie keeps promising he has changed his abusive ways, but he's told me that once before he beat the living hell outta me, so I say nothin' doin', jerkface!

I'm scared Eddie's gonna try something stupid like take E.J. away from me and blame me for being a bad mamma when HE'S the one who's the cause of a lot of my stress!  I'm also scared that Eddie'll beat the crap outta me again and put me into the hospital, like the one time when he kicked me in the stomach and ruptured my spleen (this happened over a year ago).

I do know one thing: Eddie is scared of Pulalay.  Maybe it's 'cause Pulalay is so much taller than he is (Pulalay is 6'7" tall while Eddie is only 5'5"; she easily towers over him).  If he sees that Pulalay is with me, he won't bother me or come near me but if Pulalay is not around, Eddie will use all the tricks in the book to try to take me back.

I'm sorry, but I'm not buying into his garbage!  I've had more than enough of Eddie Thunderstorm's headgames!!!!

I have been trying to find someone new, but to tell you the truth, men intimidate me.  Maybe it's 'cause how Eddie "Dumb-Ass" Thunderstorm treated me; I just don't trust men's advances so I would rather choose to stay neutral.  It's a lot safer that way, especially in my case.

Well, E.J. just woke up from his nap, so I'll tend to him until Pulalay gets home from work.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Kara Thunderstorm saying so long; may the Great Spirit bless you!  Just keep me in your prayers; pray that Eddie Thunderstorm leaves me alone and doesn't try anything stupid!  I have had more than enough of him!!
